1. Introduction
Welcome to the Cubot A10 smartphone user manual. This guide provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your device. The Cubot A10 is a 4G Android smartphone featuring a 6.56-inch 90Hz display, 12GB RAM (4GB physical + 8GB extended), 128GB internal storage (expandable up to 1TB via TF card), an Octa-core processor, a 5100mAh battery, and a 48MP main camera, running on the latest Android 14 operating system.

3. Device Overview
Familiarize yourself with the physical components of your Cubot A10 smartphone.
3.1 Front View
- Display: 6.56-inch Water Drop Screen with 90Hz refresh rate.
- Front Camera: 16MP for selfies and video calls.
- Earpiece: For calls.
3.2 Rear View
- Main Camera System: 48MP primary camera and additional lenses.
- Flash: For low-light photography.
- Cubot Branding: Located on the back panel.
3.3 Side and Bottom Views
- Power Button: Located on the side, used to turn the device on/off and wake/sleep the screen.
- Volume Buttons: Located on the side, used to adjust media and call volume.
- SIM/Memory Card Slot: Located on the side, for inserting SIM cards and a TF card (up to 1TB).
- USB Type-C Port: Located at the bottom, for charging and data transfer.

4. Setup
4.1 SIM Card and Memory Card Installation
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) and/or TF card (up to 1TB) into the designated slots on the tray. Ensure the gold contacts are facing down. The memory card slot is shared with one of the SIM slots.
- Carefully reinsert the tray into the phone until it clicks into place.

4.2 Initial Power On
Press and hold the Power button on the side of the device until the Cubot logo appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection, and Google account setup.
4.3 Charging the Device
Connect the USB Type-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of the phone and plug the other end into the provided power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The battery indicator on the screen will show the charging status. For optimal battery life, it is recommended to fully charge the device before first use.
5. Operating Your Cubot A10
5.1 Basic Navigation
- Touch Screen: Navigate the device using touch gestures such as tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom.
- Power Button: Short press to wake/sleep the screen. Long press to power off or restart.
- Volume Buttons: Adjust media volume during playback or ringtone volume when idle.
5.2 Face Recognition
The Cubot A10 supports Face Recognition for secure unlocking. To set up:
- Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Face unlock.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to register your face. Ensure good lighting and hold the phone at eye level.

5.3 Camera Usage
Your Cubot A10 is equipped with a 48MP rear camera and a 16MP front camera. Open the Camera app to capture photos and videos.
- Switch Modes: Tap to switch between Photo, Video, Portrait, and other modes.
- Zoom: Pinch in/out on the screen or use the zoom slider.
- Settings: Access camera settings for resolution, flash, timer, and more.

5.4 Connectivity
- Wi-Fi: Connect to wireless networks via Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi. The device supports 5G Wi-Fi.
- Cellular Data: Enable mobile data via Settings > Network & internet > Mobile network. The phone supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
- Bluetooth: Pair with Bluetooth devices via Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth.
- GPS: The device has built-in GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou for location services. Ensure location services are enabled in Settings > Location.

5.5 Audio
The Cubot A10 includes a 3.5mm headphone port for wired audio accessories. Simply plug in your headphones to enjoy music or calls.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care
- Avoid extreme temperatures, which can degrade battery performance.
- Do not let the battery completely drain frequently.
- Use only the original or certified compatible charger and cable.
6.2 Software Updates
Regularly check for and install software updates to ensure your device has the latest features, security patches, and performance improvements. Go to Settings > System > System update.
6.3 Cleaning Your Device
Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of your phone. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner designed for electronics.
7. Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to the charger for at least 10 minutes, then try powering on again.
- Screen unresponsive: Restart the device by holding the power button for about 10-15 seconds.
- Network issues (no signal/data): Check if SIM card is properly inserted. Verify mobile data is enabled in settings. Try restarting the phone.
- Apps crashing: Clear the cache of the problematic app (Settings > Apps > [App Name] > Storage & cache > Clear cache). If the issue persists, reinstall the app.
- Battery draining quickly: Reduce screen brightness, close unused apps, disable unnecessary background processes, and check battery usage in settings to identify power-hungry apps.

9. User Tips
- NFC Functionality: Please note that the Cubot A10 does not support NFC.
- Storage Expansion: Utilize a TF card (up to 1TB) to expand your device's storage for more apps, photos, and videos. Remember the TF card shares a slot with one of the SIM cards.
