3. Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to begin charging your electric vehicle:

  1. Connect the Schuko plug: Insert the Schuko plug into a suitable electrical socket. Ensure the socket can support the chosen current (max 16A).
  2. Set the current and delay charging time: Use the control box buttons to adjust the charging current (6A/8A/10A/13A/16A) and set a delay time if desired (0.5h - 8h).
  3. Connect the Type 2 connector: Insert the Type 2 plug into your vehicle's charging port.

Note: All settings cannot be modified after plugging the Type 2 connector into the vehicle's charging port.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Current Adjustment and Delay Setting

The control box features dual buttons for ease of use:

  • Current Adjustment (Button A): Touch once to cycle through available current options: 6A, 8A, 10A, 13A, 16A.
  • Delay Setting (Button L): Touch once to set the charge start time delay, ranging from 0.5 hours to 8 hours.

4.2. Pausing and Resuming Charging

  • To pause charging: Press both buttons (A and L) simultaneously for 1 second while charging. The LED will turn blue.
  • To resume charging: Press both buttons (A and L) simultaneously for 1 second again. The LED will turn green.

Please read and adhere to the following safety guidelines:

  • Only suitable for use with EV/PHEV; do not use for other purposes.
  • Do not use external cables or adapters.
  • Do not attempt to open, disassemble, repair, tamper with, or modify the mobile connector.
  • Do not use the EV portable charger if it is defective, appears cracked, frayed, broken, damaged, or fails to operate.
  • Do not plug the EV portable charger into a damaged, loose, or worn power outlet.

6.1. Electrical Outlet Considerations

Before adjusting the charger current, always check the maximum current capacity of your electrical outlet:

  • With Dedicated Socket: Supports up to 16A (Max 3.7kW). Select 13A or 16A.
  • With Non-Dedicated Socket: Supports up to 10A (Max 2.3kW). Select 6A, 8A, or 10A.
