5. Installation
The Catchface V1 Pro+ Smart Cylinder Door Lock is designed for easy replacement and installation, typically taking around 10 minutes with a hex screwdriver. No drilling or wiring is required.
5.1 Pre-Installation Checks
Before installation, confirm your door's cylinder cover type and backset length:

- Cylinder Cover Type: Ensure your existing cylinder cover is compatible (refer to the green checkmarks in Figure 5.1).
- Backset Length: The backset needs to be more than 25mm. If it is not, the door may not close properly after the smart cylinder is installed.
5.2 Cylinder Length Adjustment
The smart lock's cylinder length is adjustable to fit various door thicknesses. Use the provided extension kits (5mm and 10mm) to modify the length as needed.

- The external thickness should be between 18-45mm.

6.1 Unlocking Methods
The V1 Pro+ Smart Lock offers five ways to unlock:

- Password Unlock: Rotate the lock 90 degrees to reveal the keypad, then enter your registered password.
