Setup

1. Initial Charging

Upon receiving your camera, it is recommended to charge it with a 5V/1A power supply for 6-8 hours before its first use. This ensures the built-in battery is adequately charged for optimal performance.

2. Physical Installation

Follow these steps to mount your camera:

  1. Mark Drill Points: Use the provided mounting template sticker to mark the desired drill points on the wall.
  2. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points and insert the wall plugs.
  3. Secure Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
  4. Attach Camera: Slide the camera onto the mounting bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened.
  5. Adjust Angle: Adjust the camera to your desired monitoring angle.

3. App Installation & Connection

To connect your camera to the mobile app, follow these steps:

  1. Download App: Download the "ANRAN" app from your mobile device's app store (available for iOS and Android).
  2. Select Device: Open the app and select "Battery Camera" from the device list.
  3. Start Device: Hold the device power button to start the camera. If it's asleep, press the button to wake it up.
  4. Reset Device: If necessary, press and hold the RESET button on your device for 4-5 seconds until a flashing red indicator light appears.
  5. Wi-Fi Setup: Select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter your password. The device does not work with 5G Wi-Fi networks.
  6. Scan QR Code: Scan the QR code displayed in the app with the camera lens at a distance of 5-8 inches. A tone will be heard when successfully scanned.
  7. Connect Device: The app will search for and connect to the device. Ensure the device is powered on and connected to the router.
  8. Live View: Once connected, you can access the live feed and video history from your mobile phone.

Operating Instructions

1. Solar Power

The integrated solar panel continuously charges the camera's built-in battery, eliminating the need for manual charging under sufficient sunlight. Monocrystalline silicon solar panels offer high photoelectric conversion efficiency, allowing for low-light charging and extending battery life.

2. Motion Detection & Instant Alert

The camera's motion detection feature can identify various moving objects, including animals, cars, people, and even flying insects. Upon detecting movement, the ANRAN app will immediately send an alarm message to your mobile device, keeping you informed of any activity.

3. PIR Humanoid Detection

When the PIR (Passive Infrared) humanoid detection function is activated, the camera will only trigger an alarm for human figures. This intelligent feature significantly reduces false alarms caused by animals or passing vehicles, focusing alerts on relevant human activity.

1. Battery Care

  • Solar Charging Efficiency: The solar panel can fully charge the camera in about 4 hours under sufficient light when the camera is not in active use.
  • Continuous Operation: The camera has two built-in large-capacity batteries, allowing it to continue monitoring even during periods without sunshine, ensuring 365-day cycle monitoring.

2. Weather Resistance

The ANRAN Q01 camera has an IP66 weatherproof rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. It is designed to withstand various weather conditions, operating effectively in temperatures ranging from -30°C (-22°F) to 50°C (122°F). It is resistant to rain, snow, and dust.

3. Storage Options

The camera offers two methods for video storage:

  • Cloud Storage: Provides automatic backup and limitless capacity. Access is remote, but requires internet connectivity and an additional subscription.
  • SD Card Storage: Manual backup to a TF card (up to 128GB). Access is local, depending on the SD card's status and health.

ANRAN offers a 1-year warranty on all products, effective from the date of receipt. This warranty covers defects proven to be inherent to the product within the warranty period, allowing for repair or replacement. The warranty does not cover incidental, accidental, or indirect losses arising from customer use, nor losses caused by natural disasters.

Warranty services are provided under the following conditions:

  • Within 1 month of receipt: Free replacement of defective products.
  • 2-6 months after receipt: Customer is responsible for shipping fees for warranty service.
  • 7-12 months after receipt: Customer is responsible for 50% of the product's price for warranty service.
