3. Setup
3.1 Device Overview and Dimensions

- AUX Port: For audio output to your car's AUX-IN.
- TF Card Slot: For inserting a TF (Micro SD) card for recording.

3.2 Mounting the Device
The device can be mounted on your car's dashboard using the provided monitor base and bracket fixing sticker. The bracket allows for 350° rotation of the front camera for optimal viewing angles.


Ensure the device is securely mounted and does not obstruct your view or interfere with driving controls.
3.3 Power Connection
Connect the car charger to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket and the Type-C/USB power port on the device. Ensure a stable power supply for optimal performance.
Note: The device requires continuous power and does not have an internal battery for extended operation without connection to a power source.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Initial Startup
The device features a fast startup, typically booting up in 4 seconds. Upon startup, you will see the main interface with various application icons.

4.2 Wireless Apple CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone to Apple CarPlay wirelessly:
- On your iPhone, go to "Settings".
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Search for the device's Bluetooth name (e.g., "TF790BT_24461ace") and connect.
- Once connected, CarPlay will automatically launch on the screen.

4.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone to Android Auto wirelessly:
- On your Android phone, go to "Settings".
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Select "Pair new device" and search for the device's Bluetooth name (e.g., "TF790BT_24461ace").
- Click "Pair" and confirm any prompts.
- Once connected, Android Auto will automatically launch on the screen.

4.4 Screen Mirroring (AirPlay/Android Cast)
The device supports wireless screen mirroring for both iOS (AirPlay) and Android (Android Cast) devices. This allows you to display your phone's screen directly on the car stereo.
For iOS (AirPlay):
- Go to "Settings" on your iPhone.
- Connect your phone to the device's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "TF790-24461ace").
- Open Control Center and tap "Screen Mirroring".
- Select "Smartscreen" (or similar name) to start mirroring.
For Android (Android Cast):
- Select "Android mirror" on the device.
- Open Control Center (or quick settings) on your Android phone and tap "Smart View" (casting names may vary by phone model).
- Select "Smartscreen" to connect.

4.5 Audio Output Options
The device offers multiple ways to output audio to your car's speakers:
- Bluetooth Audio: Connect your phone via Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming.
- FM Transmitter: Turn on the FM Transmitter on the device. Adjust your car radio to a blank station and set the device's FM frequency to match.
- AUX Cable: Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the device's "audio" port and the other end to your car's AUX-IN port. Select AUX playback on your car radio.

4.6 Camera Features
The device supports dual-channel recording with a 4K front camera and an optional 1080P rear camera.

The front camera can rotate 350° to capture various angles, including inside the car.

4.6.1 Multiple Operating Modes
Switch between different camera views and modes by sliding left and right on the screen:

4.6.2 Loop Recording
New footage will automatically overwrite older footage when the memory card reaches full capacity, seamlessly recycling storage space.
4.6.3 Emergency Recording
In emergency situations such as sudden braking or collision, the device will automatically take pictures and lock the video, preventing it from being overwritten.

4.6.4 Real-Time Reversing View

4.6.5 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
For 24-hour parking monitoring, an ACC Hardware Kit needs to be purchased separately and installed. This feature allows the DVR to record events even when the vehicle is parked.

7. Troubleshooting
- No Sound from Device:
- Ensure the AUX cable is properly inserted and the FM transmitter switch is turned off, or vice versa.
- If the FM transmitter switch is on, the internal speaker will be muted.
- Screen Does Not Light Up:
- Check if the power supply is properly connected to the Type-C port and the cigarette lighter.
- If power is confirmed, press and hold the reset button on the back of the device for 3 seconds.
- If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Contact customer service for firmware updates.
- Rear Camera Picture is Shaking:
- Ensure the rear camera cable is properly plugged into the AV port. (Note: Connect the rear camera first, then power on the device).
- Restart the device.
- Using Other Brand Rear Cameras:
- Only Vtopek brand rear cameras are supported. Other brands or original car cameras are not compatible.
- Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Connection Issues:
- Ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone and connected to the device.
- Clear connection history in the device settings and try reconnecting.
8. User Tips
- For optimal audio quality, use the AUX cable connection if your car stereo supports it.
- Regularly check for firmware updates to ensure the best performance and access to new features. However, only use official firmware provided by Vtopek to avoid damaging the device.
- When connecting your phone for CarPlay or Android Auto, ensure both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are active for a seamless wireless experience.
- Utilize the 350° rotating front camera to capture both road and in-cabin footage, enhancing overall driving safety and recording versatility.
