- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures (below -10℃ or above 60℃) for prolonged periods, as this can affect performance and lifespan.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Cable Care: Handle all cables gently to prevent damage. Do not pull on the cables to disconnect them.
8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your BQCC B5311L player.
- Q1: How do I connect CarPlay and Android Auto?
- A: Search for the device's Bluetooth name "SWL-BT" on your phone. When connecting for the first time, a prompt will appear on your phone. Please click to 'use' or 'trust' the device to establish the connection.
- Q2: How to complete the wired Mirrorlink connection?
- A: Before connecting your phone, select the 'PhoneLink' function on the device. Change the automatic connection option under the corresponding phone type to 'Mirror'. Then, connect your phone's data cable and grant the necessary authorization on your phone.
- Q3: How to output the sound of the car player to the original car speakers?
- A: There are three methods for sound output:
1. The device has a built-in small speaker. You can turn it off in the settings if you prefer.
2. Use the FM transmission function: Select an unused FM frequency (e.g., 86.3MHz) on the device, then tune your car's radio to the same frequency.
3. Use the 3.5mm AUX auxiliary cable: Connect the AUX OUT interface of the device to your car's AUX input. (Note: Some car models may not support this function; refer to your car's manual.) - Q4: Bluetooth connection fails, or some functions are abnormal after connection?
- A: Ensure your mobile phone is searching for the correct Bluetooth name, "SWL-BT". Delete any previously paired but unconnected Bluetooth devices from your phone's Bluetooth list. Sometimes, old pairings can interfere with new connections. Restart your phone's Bluetooth and the vehicle device, then try pairing again.
- Q5: Will Bluetooth connection not automatically connect to CarPlay or Android Auto?
- A: Some connected Bluetooth devices can prevent automatic connection. Clear all paired Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone, restart both your phone's Bluetooth and the vehicle device, and then re-establish the Bluetooth connection.
- Q6: Playing music and talking on the phone too quietly?
- A: To adjust the playing volume, hold down the top of the screen with your finger and slide down to access the status bar. You can adjust the volume there. During a call, if you return to the home screen, you can also adjust the call volume in the status bar.
- Q7: Can't read or play SD, USB music and videos?
- A: Please use 16GB or 32GB storage cards or USB flash drives. Some large-capacity storage devices may not be supported. Ensure the storage device is formatted to its default file system. Partially encoded video or music files may not be recognized; use common format media files (e.g., MP3, AVI, JPEG).
9. User Tips
- For the most stable and seamless experience with CarPlay and Android Auto, ensure your phone's operating system is up to date.
- When using the FM transmitter, choose a clear frequency with no existing radio broadcasts to minimize interference and ensure optimal sound quality.
- If you experience any connectivity issues, a quick restart of both your phone and the B5311L player can often resolve them.
- Regularly clean the screen with a microfiber cloth to maintain clarity and responsiveness.
