4. Device Installation
4.1. Seatpost Mount
- Place the rubber pad on the seatpost.
- Secure with the silicone strap.
- Clip the XOSS Nebula into the base and rotate 90 degrees to lock it in place.

4.2. Saddle Rail Mount
- Clip the saddle rail mount onto the saddle rail and use the hex wrench to secure the screws.
- Adjust the angle of the base and lock the screws.
- Clip the XOSS Nebula into the base and rotate 90 degrees to lock it in place.

4.3. Other Mounting Options
The XOSS Nebula can also be secured to a helmet or backpack using the dedicated base and rubber pad. Clip the base rubber pad into the back of the dedicated base, then secure it to your helmet or backpack. Finally, clip the XOSS Nebula into the base and rotate 90 degrees.

5. Operation
5.1. Basic Functions
- Power On/Off: Long press the button to turn the device on or off.
- Change Modes: After powering on, click the button to cycle through different flashing modes and patterns.
- Check Battery: After powering off, click the button to display the remaining battery level.

5.2. Smart Features
- Brake Detection Warning: The taillight will highlight when braking is detected, alerting vehicles behind you. This feature can be turned on/off in the XOSS app.
- Automatic On/Off (Vibration Sensing): The XOSS Nebula will automatically turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity and turn on when riding vibration is detected. The detection time can be set in the XOSS app.
- Sleep Mode: The device enters sleep mode after a long period of being stationary.
- Low Battery Alert: When the battery level drops below a set threshold, the taillight will automatically remind you.

5.3. XOSS APP Support & Customization
The XOSS app allows for advanced customization and control of your Nebula light. Search for "XOSS" in your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, App Store for iOS) or scan the QR code below to download and install the app. Compatible with iOS 13.0, Android 7.0, or later.

- Connecting to App: Open the XOSS app, go to "Devices > Sensors" to search and connect to your Nebula light.
- Customized Pattern: Customize the pattern, brightness, and color of the display via the XOSS app. The light features 192 LED beads with red and yellow colors for rich creativity.
- Synchronized Strobe Pattern (Team Sync): The app allows the taillights to automatically detect and synchronize with other Nebula lights in your team, displaying the same pattern. It automatically switches to individual mode when out of group distance.
- Automatic Signal Light (Navigation Notification): Connect the app/bike computer to automatically turn on the taillights during workouts. It can also receive navigation information from the app/bike computer and provide left and right turning signals according to the route.

6. Charging
The XOSS Nebula is equipped with a USB-C rechargeable 500mAh lithium battery. To charge, connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the charging port on the device and a suitable power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port). Ensure the product has enough power before riding.

7. Maintenance
- Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the Type-C charging port cover is securely closed to maintain IPX7 waterproof rating.
- Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- While the device is IPX7 waterproof, it is not recommended to soak it in water or liquid for a long time.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Long press the power button for a few seconds.
- App connectivity issues: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the XOSS app has necessary permissions. Try restarting both the device and the app.
- Patterns not changing: Click the power button briefly to cycle through modes. If using the app, ensure the pattern is correctly selected and synced.
- Brake sensing not working: Check the settings in the XOSS app to ensure the brake detection feature is enabled.
9. User Tips
- Customize for Visibility: Experiment with different patterns and brightness levels in the XOSS app to find the most visible and appealing display for your riding conditions.
- Team Riding: Utilize the "Team Sync" feature when riding in groups to enhance collective visibility and create a cohesive look.
- Check Battery Regularly: Always ensure your Nebula light is sufficiently charged before long rides, especially at night. A quick click of the power button after turning it off will show the current battery level.
- Mounting Flexibility: Take advantage of the multiple mounting options (seatpost, saddle rail, helmet, backpack) to find the most secure and visible position for your specific setup.

The XOSS Nebula comes with a one-year free warranty from the date of purchase. Please contact your original dealer for warranty service.
Conditions Not Covered by Warranty:
- Normal aging loss of the battery.
- Damage and loss of products due to improper installation.
- Damage caused by abnormal use, such as high temperature and water damage (beyond IPX7 rating).
- Damage caused by dismantling the device yourself or by unauthorized maintenance personnel.
