3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Printer

Before first use, fully charge the printer using the provided Type-C USB cable. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

3.2 Downloading the App

The NIIMBOT D11H operates exclusively with the NIIMBOT or NIIM mobile application. Download the app from your device's app store:

• For iOS devices: Search for "NIIMBOT" or "NIIM" in the Apple App Store.
• For Android devices: Search for "NIIMBOT" or "NIIM" in the Google Play Store.

3.3 Loading Label Paper

1. Open the printer's cover.
2. Insert the label roll with the printing side facing up.
3. Ensure the label paper is properly aligned and extends slightly out of the printer's slot.
4. Close the cover securely.

The printer features automatic calibration, ensuring that the first label paper is not wasted during printing.

3.4 Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn on the printer by long-pressing the power button. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the NIIMBOT/NIIM app.
4. Within the app, search for and select your D11H printer to pair. The connection is established via the app; the printer is not compatible with computers or tablets.

4.1 Power On/Off

• Power On: Long-press the power button until the indicator light turns on.
• Power Off: Long-press the power button until the indicator light turns off.

4.2 Creating and Printing Labels

1. Ensure your D11H printer is connected to the NIIMBOT/NIIM app via Bluetooth.
2. Open the app and select a template or create a new label design. The app offers a variety of features including:
• Text input (supports 10+ languages, 100+ fonts)
• Symbols, logos, barcodes, QR codes
• Images, time, and various frames

Note: The D11H is a monochrome printer and only prints in black text. It does not support continuous label tape; labels are fixed in length.

To conserve battery, the label maker will automatically turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity. You can adjust this setting (15min, 30min, 60min, never) within the app to suit your preferences.

• Labels not feeding correctly or jamming: Check that the label roll is inserted correctly and aligned properly. Ensure there are no obstructions in the label path.
• App not responding or crashing: Restart the app or your smartphone. Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
• Labels are not waterproof/oil-proof: While NIIMBOT labels are generally wear-resistant, waterproof, and oil-proof, their performance can vary based on environmental conditions and specific label types. Ensure the label surface is clean and dry before application.
