Setup Instructions
The CF-WR762AC is designed for easy setup without the need for a dedicated app. Follow these steps to configure your device:
- Connect to Repeater WiFi: Plug in the repeater to a power outlet. On your mobile phone or computer, connect to the repeater's default Wi-Fi network (e.g., COMFAST_XXX).
- Access Setup Interface: Open a web browser and enter the IP address
192.168.10.1in the address bar. This will take you to the repeater's setting interface. - Select Repeater Mode: Within the interface, select the 'Repeater Mode' option.
- Choose Network and Enter Password: Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to extend from the list. Enter the password for that network.
- Apply Settings: Click 'Settings' and wait for approximately 5 seconds. The indicator light on the repeater will turn blue once the setup is successful.

Plug and Play Functionality
Once configured, the CF-WR762AC features a powerful memory function, allowing it to be unplugged and moved to another socket without losing its settings. This enables flexible placement throughout your home to optimize Wi-Fi coverage.

Operating Modes
The CF-WR762AC supports multiple operating modes to suit various networking needs:
1. Repeater Mode (Wireless to Wireless)
This mode extends the Wi-Fi signal of your main router wirelessly, effectively solving weak signal problems and eliminating Wi-Fi dead spots.

2. AP/Router Mode (Wired to Wireless)
In this mode, the device is equipped with a network port. Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem or router to the repeater, and it will transmit a new Wi-Fi signal, acting as an Access Point or Router.

3. Wireless to Wired Mode (Bridge Mode)
This mode allows the repeater to receive a wireless signal from your main router and convert it into a wired connection for devices like desktops, laptops, or Internet TVs that may be far from the main router.

- No Internet Access: Check the signal strength indicator on the screen. If it's low, try moving the repeater closer to your main router. Verify the main router has internet access.
- Setup Failure: Ensure you've entered the correct Wi-Fi password for your main router during setup. Try resetting the repeater using the WPS/Reset button and re-attempting the setup.
- Slow Speed: Ensure the repeater is placed optimally to receive a strong signal from the main router. Avoid placing it near interference sources. The dual-band feature helps with efficient transmission and anti-interference.
- Connection Drops: Check for physical obstructions or interference. Ensure the repeater's firmware is up to date.
