It runs on a full Android 13 system, supporting GMS services and the Google Play Store for free software downloads.
It's important to note that the wireless Android Auto function only works if your smartphone has the built-in Android Auto app and is equipped with 5GHz Wi-Fi.

3. Compatibility
This adapter is compatible with approximately 98% of cars that come with factory-installed wired CarPlay. It converts your existing wired CarPlay and Android Auto systems into wireless versions.
3.1 Device Requirements
- For Wireless CarPlay: iPhone 6 and above running iOS 10.0 or newer.
- For Wireless Android Auto: Android phones running Android 10.0 or above (some devices may require Android 11.0 or above). Your phone must have the Android Auto app built-in and support 5GHz Wi-Fi.

4. Getting Started & Setup
4.1 Initial Connection
Plug the adapter into your vehicle's USB port. This port may be marked with a CarPlay car icon or a smartphone icon. The adapter supports both Type-C and USB-A connections.

Once connected, you will see a prompt image on your car's display. Connect your phone to the corresponding Bluetooth name displayed. (Note: Android Auto typically does not display a prompt image like CarPlay during initial connection).


4.2 For iPhone Users (Wireless CarPlay)
- Before pairing with the adapter, ensure you 'forget' any previously connected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices in your iPhone's settings (e.g., factory car Bluetooth or Wi-Fi dashcamera).
- Turn on your iPhone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Pair your iPhone to the Bluetooth device named "SmartBox-xxxx" (where xxxx is a unique identifier).
- On your iPhone, tap "Pair", then "Allow" (for contacts and favorites sync), and finally "Use CarPlay" on the pop-up notifications.
- The device will connect to wireless CarPlay within a few seconds.
4.3 For Android Users (Wireless Android Auto)
- Before pairing with the adapter, ensure you 'forget' any previously connected Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices in your Android phone's settings (e.g., factory car Bluetooth or Wi-Fi dashcamera).
- Turn on your Android smartphone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
- Pair your Android phone to the Bluetooth device named "SmartBox-xxxx".

Note: Unlike CarPlay, Android Auto typically does not display a prompt image after the initial connection. If you need to see the prompt again, you may need to forget the device and reconnect.

7. Troubleshooting
Q: What should I do if there is no response when I plug in the product?
- Replug the adapter.
- Pull out the product, then check if the original car's wired Apple CarPlay/Android Auto can be used normally.
- If it is still not working, please contact our support for a replacement.
Q: Can't connect automatically.
- Please turn on your phone's Bluetooth and WLAN, and make sure both Bluetooth and WLAN do not connect to other devices. Neglect the original car Bluetooth.
- Replug the adapter. If it doesn't work, then forget this adapter's Bluetooth on your phone. Reboot your phone and repair the Bluetooth.
- If it still doesn't help, please reference the 'Upgrade Steps' section to upgrade the firmware.
Q: When stuck in the connection state, and it keeps connecting, what should I do?
- Please click settings - clear pair list, and ignore the Bluetooth pairing record on the phone, then restart your phone.
- Restore the factory settings of the original car.
Q: My phone can identify the product Bluetooth/WiFi, but my car does not enter the connection page.
- Reset the box: Use your phone to scan the QR code below or enter 192.168.200.1 on your iPhone's or Android smartphone browser. Then select the Factory reset.
- Restore the factory settings of your original car system.
Firmware Upgrade Steps
Note: Do NOT plug the adapter into the car stereo to perform the upgrade. Many car stereo USB ports may lose power during an update, which can cause adapter failure. Always plug the adapter into a stable power supply source like a phone charger or a computer's USB port for firmware upgrades.
- Use your iPhone to connect to the adapter's Wi-Fi network (Password is 12345678). If your phone cannot find the Wi-Fi, manually join the adapter Wi-Fi network [SmartBox-xxxx].
- On your phone's browser, enter
192.168.200.1. - Tap "upgrade" if an upgrade is available.

10. Warranty and Support
If we repair or replace a product, the repaired or replaced product shall be warranted for the remaining time of the original warranty period. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any quality problem, you shall return the item in its original condition within 30 days of receipt and we will gladly provide a refund, replacement, or an exchange. Any items received after 30 days will not be accepted for refund. For any items received after 30 days, we will provide repair service during the warranty period.

Our warranty does NOT cover the following situations:
- Warranty expired.
- Damage caused by human factors, accident, misuse of the product.
- Products purchased from unauthorized channels.
- Unauthorized alteration to change of parts or components of the product.
