6. BIOS Settings
The BIOS (Basic Input and Output System) records the hardware parameters of the system in the CMOS on the motherboard. It identifies, configures, tests, and connects computer hardware to the OS immediately after a computer is turned on. Its major functions include conducting the Power-On Self-Test (POST) during system startup, saving system parameters, and loading the operating system. The BIOS includes a BIOS Setup program that allows the user to modify basic system configuration settings or to activate certain system features.
Important!
- Because BIOS flashing is potentially risky if you do not encounter problems using the current version of BIOS, it is recommended that you do not flash the BIOS. Inadequate BIOS flashing may result in system malfunction.
6.1. Enter BIOS Setup
When the computer is turned on, BIOS enters the self-test process. After the self-test, press the "DEL" key to enter the BIOS Setup Menu. Alternatively, use the “Quick Boot Key” (F7) to access the boot menu.
If the message disappears before you press the <DEL> key, you can turn it off and then turn on your computer or press <Reset> on the case to restart. You can also press <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Delete> at the same time to restart your computer.
Important!
- Functions may vary depending on the product. If you have any troubles, please feel free to contact us.
6.2. Reset BIOS
When you need to restore the default BIOS settings to resolve certain issues, short the Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard.
Important!
- Be sure the computer is off before clearing CMOS data. Refer to the Clear CMOS jumper section for resetting BIOS.
Clear CMOS (JCMOS1)
If it's a 2-pin jumper, short them for about 5 seconds.
- Initial state: The initial state covers pins "1" and "2". If you want to discharge, proceed to the next step.
- Discharge: Pull out the cap to cover pins "2" and "3", and wait for about 3 minutes for the discharge to complete.
- Restitute: After the discharge is completed, restore the initial state by moving the cap back to cover pins "1" and "2".
Important!
- Always turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the power outlet before discharging.
7. Troubleshooting (FAQ)
7.1. Can't Boot
If pressing the boot button results in no response (fan not rotating, indicator light off), try the following:
- Clear the CMOS jumper.
- Check if the CPU is compatible with the motherboard.
- Check if the motherboard's power and CPU power supply are plugged in, and if the case power switch is on.
- Check if the system panel power-on cable is plugged in properly.
- Check if the power supply is in good condition (at least 500W recommended).
- Remove the graphics card, hard disk, USB, and other devices, then try to boot. (Use metal objects to directly short the switch pins to rule out chassis switch problems).
- Replace with another CPU and try again.
7.2. Start-up and then Shutdown
If the fan immediately turns off after rotating once, try the following:
- Clear the CMOS jumper.
- Verify the CPU model used is compatible.
- Replace and troubleshoot if the CPU is damaged.
- Replace with other memory.
- Remove the graphics card, hard drive, and USB device and test again.
7.3. Computer Keeps Restarting
If the computer automatically restarts or enters an endless reboot loop, try the following:
- Clear the CMOS jumper.

- Check if the CPU is defective (replace with a new one).
- Replace the RAM and check if it is bad or incompatible.
- Remove the graphics card, hard disk, USB, and other devices, and test again.
7.4. No Display
There are two states for monitor no display:
State 1: The fan is rotating, but the Caps Lock indicator of the keyboard does not respond. Try the following:
- Clear CMOS.
- Check if the motherboard's power supply and the CPU power supply are plugged in.
- Check if the memory stick is installed in the correct slot. (Some motherboard memory slots cannot be randomly inserted; contact support if unsure).
- Check if the CPU and memory model are compatible with the motherboard.
- Replace with other CPUs.
- Replace with other memory.
State 2: The fan is rotating, and the Caps Lock indicator of the keyboard lights up. Try the following:
- Check if the monitor is turned on.
- Check if the monitor display cable is plugged in (DP, HDMI, DVI, and VGA).
- If no graphics card is present, ensure your CPU supports integrated graphics. CPUs with the suffix F and Intel Xeon series CPUs do not support integrated graphics and require a video graphics card.
- Check if the display data cable is plugged into the correct position. If a separate graphics card is not installed, the data cable should be connected to the display interface of the motherboard. If an independent graphics card is installed, the data cable should be plugged into the display interface of the graphics card.
- Replace the data cable connected to the monitor.
- Replace with a new graphics card and test again.
7.5. Blue Screen or Crash
If you experience a blue screen or system crash, try the following:
- Check if the motherboard's heat dissipation is normal (e.g., CPU cooling fan working, cooler base tightly fitted to CPU, thermal paste applied).
- Replace with a new CPU.
- Replace with new memory.
- Replace with a new hard disk.
- Reinstall the operating system.
- Replace with a new power supply and test again.
8. User Tips
- Always ensure your power supply meets the recommended wattage (at least 500W) for stable system operation, especially when using high-performance components.
- When installing components, handle them with care and avoid forcing them into place to prevent damage to pins or slots.
- For optimal performance and stability, use memory modules of the same capacity, brand, and speed.
