1. Cleaning

  • Removing Keycaps: Use the keycap puller to gently lift keycaps straight up.
  • Removing Switches: Use the switch puller (the other end of the 2-in-1 tool) to carefully grip the switch and pull it straight out.
  • Installing Switches: Align the pins of the new switch with the holes on the PCB. Gently push the switch down until it clicks into place. Ensure pins are not bent.
  • Installing Keycaps: Press the keycap firmly onto the switch stem until it is secure.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not responding: Ensure the keyboard is charged. Check the connection mode switch (2.4G, BT, Line) and ensure it matches your connection method. For wired mode, try a different USB port or cable. For wireless modes, ensure the dongle is properly inserted or Bluetooth is paired.
  • Keys not registering: If specific keys are not working, try hot-swapping the switch with one of the included replacement switches to see if the issue is with the switch itself. Ensure keycaps are properly seated.
  • Backlight issues: Use the FN key combinations to adjust brightness and modes. If issues persist, try resetting the keyboard to factory defaults by holding FN + ESC for 3 seconds. Ensure the software settings are not overriding hardware controls.
  • Wireless connectivity issues: Ensure the keyboard is within range of the receiver/device. Avoid interference from other wireless devices. For Bluetooth, try re-pairing the keyboard.
  • Software not detecting keyboard: Ensure the keyboard is connected via USB-C wired mode when attempting to use the customization software. Restart the software and/or your computer.
