1. Product Overview

The X6 Mini IP Camera is a compact, high-definition wireless security camera designed for surveillance and monitoring. It features 1080P Full-HD video recording, a 155-degree wide-angle lens, infrared night vision, and mobile phone remote viewing capabilities. Its built-in battery allows for portable use, and it supports local storage via a TF card.

2. Package Contents

Please check the package contents upon unboxing to ensure all items are present:

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera's charging port and a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a power bank. The camera has a built-in 300mAh lithium battery, providing approximately 1.5 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. It can also record while charging.

3.2 Inserting a TF Card

The camera supports local storage via a TF (MicroSD) card, with a maximum capacity of 32GB. A TF card is not included and must be purchased separately. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the TF card.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

3.3 App Installation and Wireless Connection

To utilize the camera's smart features, download the corresponding mobile application (often referred to as V380 Pro or similar for generic IP cameras). The camera connects via AP hotspot mode for initial setup and remote viewing.

  1. Scan the QR code in the provided instruction manual or search for the recommended app (e.g., 'V380 Pro') in your mobile app store (Android/iOS).
  2. Install the app on your smartphone.
  3. Power on the camera. It will broadcast an AP hotspot.
  4. On your phone, go to WiFi settings and connect to the camera's hotspot (usually named something like 'MV...' or 'X6...').
  5. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the camera and connect it to your home WiFi network for remote access.

3.4 Mounting the Camera

The camera comes with a mounting bracket for flexible placement.

  1. Attach the camera to the magnetic base of the bracket.
  2. Place the bracket on a flat surface or use adhesive to secure it to a wall or ceiling.
  3. Adjust the camera angle as needed using the flexible joint of the bracket.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Locate the power button on the camera. Press and hold to power on or off. Refer to the manual for specific indicator light behavior.

4.2 Video Recording

The camera records video in 1080P Full-HD resolution. When a TF card is inserted, it supports continuous recording. The camera also features intelligent loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest footage when the memory card is full, ensuring continuous surveillance.

4.3 Night Vision

The X6 Mini IP Camera is equipped with infrared night vision, allowing it to capture clear video in low-light conditions or complete darkness. It has a night vision distance of approximately 5 meters, utilizing 960nm invisible infrared lights and a photosensitive sensor.

4.4 Remote Viewing and Alarms

Once connected to your home WiFi network via the mobile app, you can view live footage remotely from your smartphone. The camera also supports mobile phone video remote alarms, notifying you of detected activity.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the camera lens and body. Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges on the lens, a lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be used sparingly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

5.2 Battery Care

To prolong battery life:

  • Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Charge the camera regularly, even if not in constant use.
  • Store the camera in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods, with the battery partially charged (around 50%).
  • Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures.

5.3 Storage

When storing the camera for a long time, ensure it is clean, fully charged, and stored in a protective case to prevent dust and physical damage.
