  • IN (Input) Jack: Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) here.
  • USB Type-C Port: For power supply (5V) and data transfer (export/import audio files).

5. Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect a DC 9V power adapter (center negative, ≥300mA) to the DC 9V jack, or connect the provided Type-C cable to the USB port and a USB 5V power source (≥300mA).
  2. Instrument Connection: Connect your instrument to the IN jack using a standard 1/4" mono cable.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Looper Functions

The M-VAVE LOOPER allows you to record, overdub, and manage up to 4 independent loops.

  • Recording a Loop:
    • Press the LOOPER Footswitch once to start recording. The LED will indicate recording status.
    • Press the LOOPER Footswitch again to stop recording and start playback.
  • Overdubbing:
    • While a loop is playing, press the LOOPER Footswitch once to start overdubbing.
    • Press the LOOPER Footswitch again to stop overdubbing and continue playback.
    • Each loop supports unlimited overdub layers.
  • Stopping Playback:
    • Double-click the LOOPER Footswitch to stop the current loop playback.
  • Undo/Redo Last Overdub:
    • Hold the LOOPER Footswitch to undo the last overdub.
    • Hold the LOOPER Footswitch again to redo the undone overdub. This can be done unlimited times.
  • Deleting a Loop:
    • To delete the current loop, double-click and hold the LOOPER Footswitch. Confirm deletion if prompted (refer to device display).
  • Loop Storage:
    • The pedal can store 4 loops. The total recording time is up to 11 minutes, with each single loop supporting up to 5 minutes.
    • Use the center Left/Right buttons to navigate between stored loops (1-4).
  • USB Audio Transfer:
    • Connect the pedal to a computer via the USB Type-C cable.
    • You can export recorded loops or import standard WAV audio files. Refer to the companion APP for detailed instructions on managing files.

6.2 Drum Machine Functions

The built-in drum machine offers 30 factory drum patterns and customizable rhythms.

  • Playing/Stopping Drums:
    • Press the DRUM Footswitch once to start or stop the drum pattern.
    • Double-click the DRUM Footswitch to stop all drum patterns.
  • Selecting Drum Patterns:
    • Use the center Left/Right buttons to cycle through the 30 available drum patterns. The digital display will show the current drum pattern number.
    • Factory drum styles include Metronome (1-3), Pop (4-8, 11), Metal (9-10), Hiphat Pop (12), Reggae (13), Disco (14), Punk (15-16), 3/4 Beat (19-20), Rock (21-22), Jazz (23), and others (24-30).
  • Adjusting Drum Speed (Tempo):
    • Click the center buttons (Left/Right) to adjust the tapping speed or SYNC.
    • Hold the center buttons to cancel drum SYNC.
    • The speed can be defined numerically and fine-tuned by adding or subtracting values.
  • Single Drum Mode:
    • In this mode, the two footswitches act as a TAP button and a dedicated drum footswitch for more flexible control. Refer to the APP for activation and detailed usage of this mode.
  • Customizing Drums:
    • The drum patterns can be customized, edited, and saved in real-time using the dedicated APP.

6.3 Tuner Function

The pedal includes a high-precision tuner for accurate instrument tuning.

  • Activating the Tuner:
    • Hold the center buttons (Left/Right) simultaneously until the display shows the tuner interface (indicated by "Hold for TUNER" on the pedal).
  • Tuning:
    • Play a single note on your instrument. The digital display will show the detected note.
    • The system uses '#' (sharp sign) to indicate notes with sharp/flat signs.
    • Adjust your instrument until the display indicates the correct pitch.
  • Exiting Tuner Mode:
    • Press any footswitch or center button to exit tuner mode and return to the previous operation.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the power supply and store the pedal in a dry, cool place.
  • Avoid Impact: Protect the pedal from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.
