Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your Vakole SG20 e-bike.
Battery Care:
- Charging: Always use the original charger. Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery. Charge in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.
- Storage: If storing the bike for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50-70% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 1-2 months to maintain battery health.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).
General Bike Maintenance:
- Cleaning: Clean the bike regularly with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure water jets directly on electrical components. The bike has an IP65 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, but not immersion.

- Brakes: Regularly inspect the KTET Hydraulic oil disc brakes for wear on pads and proper fluid levels. Ensure brake levers are responsive.
- Chain: Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent premature wear.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases to ensure they are securely tightened.
- Suspension: Inspect the front fork suspension for proper function and cleanliness.
