  • What to Compost: The BEECO composter can handle a wide variety of kitchen waste, including fruits, vegetables, cooked food, peels, napkins, bones, yard waste, biodegradable bags, coffee & tea grounds, and meat & fish.
  • Maximize Efficiency: For larger items like fruit rinds or thick vegetable stalks, consider cutting them into smaller pieces before placing them in the composter. This can help speed up the processing time.
  • Fertilizer Use: The resulting compost is a nutrient-rich soil amendment. It can be used for all your indoor and outdoor plants, flowers, and vegetables, promoting healthy growth.
  • Odor Control: If you notice persistent odors, it's likely time to replace your activated carbon filter. Keep a spare on hand for continuous fresh air.
  • Quiet Operation: The composter is designed to be quiet (38-42dB), comparable to a modern refrigerator. If it becomes unusually loud, check for any obstructions in the grinding mechanism.
