Figure 12: USB Disk Format Compatibility

  • USB Playback:
    • Supported formats: MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA.
    • Insert a U-Disk into the USB port, and playback will start automatically.
  • USB Recording:
    • Ensure a FAT32 U-Disk with at least one song is inserted.
    • Record format: MP3.
    • Recording Operation:
      1. Long press the "REC" button to start recording (the "REC" indicator will flash).
      2. Long press the "REC" button again to stop recording and play back the latest recorded file.

3.3 99 DSP Effects

The mixer features 99 Digital Signal Processing (DSP) effects. To select an effect:

  1. Rotate the "PARAMETER" knob to the desired effect number. The number on the display will flash.
  2. Press the "PARAMETER" knob to confirm your selection. The number will stop flashing.
  3. If you do not press the "PARAMETER" knob within 3 seconds while the number is flashing, it will revert to the previously selected effect.

3.6 7-Band Stereo Graphic Equalizer

The mixer includes a 7-band graphic equalizer to fine-tune the overall sound. Adjust the faders for each frequency band (80Hz, 160Hz, 430Hz, 1K, 2.5K, 5.3K, 10K) to shape your audio output.

3.7 Gain Knob

The Gain knob controls the input sensitivity of each channel. Proper gain staging is crucial for optimal sound quality.

  • Adjust the Gain knob to achieve a strong signal level without introducing distortion.
  • The main out level lights (LED meters) can help you monitor the signal level. Aim for "Enough level" (green/yellow lights) and avoid "Peak" (red light).
Diagram illustrating the effect of the Gain knob on signal and noise levels. Turning it up increases both, turning it down decreases both.

3.8 HPF Button (High-Pass Filter)

The HPF (High-Pass Filter) button, when engaged, cuts off low frequencies (below 80Hz) from the input signal. This can help reduce unwanted rumble or bass buildup in certain situations.

Close-up of the HPF button and a frequency response graph showing how the high-pass filter cuts frequencies below 80Hz.

Figure 20: HPF Button and its Effect

3.9 Peak Indicator

The "PEAK" indicator light on each channel signifies signal clipping or distortion. If the light is on, the signal is distorting and the gain should be reduced.

  • Light ON: Signal is distorting.
  • Light OFF: Signal is normal.
Diagram showing the 'PEAK' indicator light. A red 'X' next to a lit light indicates distortion, while a green checkmark next to an unlit light indicates a normal signal.

4. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your LOMEHO AM-AX6P mixer, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the mixer. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.
  • Storage: Store the mixer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and moisture.
  • Handling: Always handle the mixer with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the mixer to prevent overheating. Do not block the ventilation grilles.

5. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
"PEAK" indicator light is on.Input signal is too strong, causing distortion.Reduce the Gain knob for the affected channel until the "PEAK" light turns off.
USB U-Disk not recognized or playing.U-Disk is formatted as NTFS, or there are no audio files on it.Ensure the U-Disk is formatted as FAT32 and contains at least one supported audio file (MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA).
Cannot connect to Bluetooth speaker. The mixer's Bluetooth is for input only, not for output to speakers.Connect speakers via wired outputs (Speaker Output, Main Out).
Non-48V condenser microphone not working. The mixer does not support non-48V condenser microphones (e.g., 3.5mm computer mics).Use a +48V condenser microphone with an XLR connection or a dynamic microphone.
