Series and Parallel Connections
The XZNY 24V 100Ah LiFePO4 battery offers excellent expandability:
- Series Connection: Up to 2 batteries can be connected in series to achieve a higher voltage (e.g., 48V).
- Parallel Connection: Up to 4 batteries can be connected in parallel to increase capacity (e.g., 400Ah).
This allows for a battery system of up to 20.48KWh. Each XZNY 24V battery undergoes individual testing at the factory to ensure high consistency, which is crucial for optimal performance in series or parallel configurations. Warning: Do not exceed 2 batteries in series or 4 batteries in parallel. Incorrect wiring can cause damage to the battery and connected equipment.

LiFePO4 batteries do not suffer from memory effect, so you can charge them at any state of charge without damaging the battery. For long-term storage, it is recommended to store the battery at approximately 50% state of charge.
Troubleshooting
The intelligent BMS in your XZNY battery is designed to prevent most common issues. If the battery stops functioning, consider the following:
- No Power Output:
- Check all cable connections to ensure they are secure and correctly wired.
- Verify that the load does not exceed the battery's maximum continuous discharge current (100A) or peak current (300A for 5 seconds). The BMS may have activated overload or overcurrent protection.
- Ensure the battery is not fully discharged. The BMS will cut off discharge at low voltage to protect the cells.
- Battery Not Charging:
- Check the charger connections and ensure the charger is compatible with LiFePO4 batteries and provides the correct voltage.
- Verify the ambient temperature. If the temperature is 32°F (0°C) or below, the BMS will prevent charging. Move the battery to a warmer environment (above 41°F / 5°C) for charging.
- Ensure the battery is not already fully charged. The BMS will stop charging once full.
- Battery Shuts Down Unexpectedly:
- This is often due to the BMS activating a protection feature (e.g., over-discharge, overcurrent, high/low temperature).
- Reduce the load if it's too high.
- Check the ambient temperature. If it's below -8°F (-22°C) or excessively high, the BMS will cut off discharge.
