1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Junsun Wireless CarPlay Autoradio. 4. Installation Guide

4.1. Compatibility Check

• This unit is designed for Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra models from 2014 to 2018.
• Important: If your original car comes with BOSE or other premium audio equipment, the provided wiring harness may not be compatible.
• The unit does not support cars with optical fiber output.
• Verify that the radio's installation position on your dashboard matches the product's design before proceeding.

4.2. Physical Installation

1. Carefully remove your existing car radio and dashboard trim. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions on trim removal.
2. The new head unit frame comes with 3 groups of holes. Select the appropriate holes for mounting to ensure a flush fit in your dashboard.
3. Secure the head unit into the dashboard using the 4 fixing holes for the machine.
4. Reinstall the dashboard trim.

4.3. Wiring Connections

The power cable is designed for plug-and-play installation. Ensure all necessary original plugs are connected. The multimedia unit has a built-in microphone; the original car microphone will no longer be active after installation.

4.3.1. Rear View Camera Connection

1. Connect the red cable (②) from the camera to the backup light's positive (+) terminal.
2. Connect the black cable (①) from the camera to the vehicle's ground (GND).
3. Connect the reverse detection cable (④, brown color) from the head unit to the red cable (③) extending from the video output cable.

4.4. Steering Wheel Control Setup

This product supports the original steering wheel control buttons. The functionality needs to be configured through a matching process within the unit's settings. Refer to the on-screen instructions for mapping your steering wheel buttons.

1. On your phone, enable Bluetooth and pair it with the car's Bluetooth.
2. Once paired, the car radio will automatically transition to the ZLink or AutoLink interface.
