4. Setup and Installation
4.1. Initial Setup (Memory Card & Power)
- Insert Memory Card: Insert a high-quality U3 grade branded Micro SD card (Class 10 speed, up to 128GB) into the dash cam's memory card slot. Ensure it is inserted correctly until it clicks into place. Using low-quality or incompatible cards may lead to recording issues.
- Power Connection: Connect the dash cam to your car's power outlet using the provided car charger. The device will typically power on automatically when the car starts.
4.2. Physical Installation
Mount the dash cam on your car's windshield, ideally behind the rearview mirror, to ensure it does not obstruct your view. Route the power cable neatly along the windshield edge and dashboard to the car's power outlet.

4.3. App Installation and Wi-Fi Connection
The dash cam's menu and settings are operated via the "Viidure" mobile application.
- Download the App: Search for "Viidure" in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices) and install it on your smartphone.
- Enable Wi-Fi on Dash Cam: Power on the dash cam. The Wi-Fi function will typically activate automatically.
- Connect via Phone:
- Open the "Viidure" app on your phone.
- Enter the configuration mode within the app.
- Turn on your phone's Wi-Fi and search for available networks.
- Locate the dash cam's Wi-Fi SSID (it will typically start with "OK***").
- Connect to this network using the default password: 12345678.
- Operate the DVR: Once connected, you can use the "Viidure" app to view live footage, access recorded videos, change settings, and perform other operations. The app supports multiple languages including English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Hebrew, Russian, Turkish, Czech, Dutch, Thai, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Malay.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Recording
Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin recording. Videos are saved to the inserted Micro SD card. The loop recording feature ensures continuous recording by overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.
5.2. 24-Hour Parking Monitoring
This feature provides real-time monitoring of your vehicle when parked. If the car experiences abnormal vibrations or collisions, the dash cam will automatically record the event. This video is then encrypted and saved, and the owner will be reminded to check the abnormality when the car is turned on.
Note: This function requires the installation of an optional Buck Line with a delay function. Professional installation is recommended for the Buck Line as it connects directly to your car's battery or ACC interface.

5.3. G-Sensor
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts, such as collisions. When an event is detected, the current video segment is automatically locked and protected from being overwritten by the loop recording function. These videos are crucial for forensic evidence.
5.4. Loop Recording
The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card reaches its capacity, the oldest unlocked video files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures that you always have the most recent footage available.

5.5. Night Vision (WDR)
Equipped with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology and a Sony Starvis Sensor, the dash cam automatically adjusts exposure balance to capture clear and detailed footage even in low-light conditions, enhancing visibility during nighttime driving.

5.6. Video Time Lapse
The time-lapse video function allows the dash cam to record at a lower frame rate (e.g., 1 frame per second instead of 25 frames per second), significantly extending the recording duration on the memory card. For example, a 16GB SD card can store 24 hours of time-lapse video, compared to 1.5 hours of normal video.
Note: This feature also requires the Buck Line with delay function for continuous power when the vehicle is off.

6. Maintenance
6.1. Memory Card Management
- Formatting: Regularly format your Micro SD card (e.g., once a month) using the option in the Viidure app to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption.
- Replacement: If you experience frequent recording errors or slow performance, consider replacing the memory card with a new, high-quality U3 Class 10 card.
6.2. Cleaning
- Lens: Gently wipe the camera lens with a soft, lint-free cloth to ensure clear video quality. Avoid using abrasive materials or chemical cleaners.
- Device Body: Clean the dash cam's body with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners directly on the device.
7. Troubleshooting
- Recording Issues: If the dash cam is not recording or experiencing errors, ensure you are using a high-quality U3 grade branded Micro SD card with Class 10 speed. Low-quality cards can cause malfunctions. Try formatting the card or replacing it.
- Parking Monitoring/Time-Lapse Not Working: Verify that the optional Buck Line is correctly installed. These features require continuous power, which is supplied by the Buck Line when the car is off. Professional installation of the Buck Line is recommended.
- Wi-Fi Connection Problems: Double-check that the "Viidure" app is installed and updated. Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi is on and you are connecting to the correct SSID (OK***) with the password "12345678".
- Device Not Powering On: Check the car charger connection and ensure your car's power outlet is functioning.
8. User Tips
- Always use a high-quality U3 grade branded Micro SD card (Class 10 speed, up to 128GB) for reliable recording, especially for 4K video.
- For 24-hour parking monitoring and time-lapse features, the Buck Line accessory is essential. Consider professional installation for proper wiring.
- The entire dash cam menu and settings are managed through the "Viidure" mobile app, offering a user-friendly interface in multiple languages.
