4. Installation
4.1 Mechanical Structures

4.2 Wiring Diagram
Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized. Refer to the diagram below for proper wiring of the DMX signal, power supply, and LED strips.

Wiring Notes:
- Connecting with green terminal (DMX AMP) or an extra amplifier will be needed when more than 32 decoders are connected, or when using overlong signal lines. Signal amplification should not exceed 5 times continuously.
- If recoil effect occurs due to longer signal lines or poor line quality, connect a 0.25W 90-120Ω terminal resistor at the end of each DMX signal line.
- The D12A can control 1 to 4 groups of RGB LED strips/modules.
- It can also control 1 to 4 groups of single color LED strips/modules.
5. Operation
5.1 OLED Screen Interface

Button Functions:
- Short press MODE key: Switches between DMX decoder mode, Dimmer mode, and RGB controller mode.
- Short press SETUP key: Enters parameter setting state and switches between multiple parameter items.
- Press < or > key: Adjusts parameters.
- Long press SETUP key (or wait 30s): Quits parameter setting state.
- Long press M & > key for 2s: Enters fast self-testing.
- Long press < & > key for 2s: Restores factory default parameters.
5.2 DMX Decoder Mode
- DMX decode start address: 001~512
- DMX decode mode: DIM (1CH single color), CCT (2CH color temperature), RGB (3CH)
- Output PWM frequency:
- Std (2KHz)
- High (8KHz): Higher PWM frequency, lower output current, higher power noise.
- Mid (500Hz)
- Supr (16KHz): More suitable for camera (no flickers for video).
- Grey level: 8bit or 16bit (choose if the DMX master supports 16 bit).
- Output dimming curve (Only valid for 8bit Grey level):
- Standard (Gamma 1.6)
- Linear
- Gamma 0.1-9.9: Recommended to use standard. 0.1-9.9 is for special requirements; long press < or > key to change.
5.3 DMX Master Mode as 12 Channel Dimmer
- Each channel brightness setting: 0-255 (0-100%).
- Use <&> keys to switch between previous or next page, each page displays 3 channels.
5.4 DMX Master Mode as RGB Controller
- Dynamic RGB mode: 10 kinds.
- Mode speed: 1-10 level (level 10 is fastest).
- Mode brightness: 10%-100%.
Dynamic RGB Mode List:
