6. Maintenance

6.1 Dust Prevention

The WZATCO P20 PLUS features a totally-enclosed light engine, which significantly reduces dust intrusion. This design helps maintain image clarity and extends the projector's lifespan by preventing dust from accumulating on optical components.

The totally-enclosed light engine prevents dust, light leakage, and ensures good heat dissipation.

6.2 Cooling System

The projector incorporates a high-quality copper heat-sink system with 9330 fans to ensure efficient cooling and low noise levels. Keep the ventilation openings clear to prevent overheating.

6.3 General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the projector with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution if necessary, wiping gently in a circular motion.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Dust in Projection

Issue: Visible dust spots on the projected image.

Solution: During transportation, it is common for small dust particles to enter the projector through the exhaust port. This is generally not a quality issue. Refer to the manufacturer's FAQ or support resources for instructions on how to clear dust if it becomes problematic.

7.2 High Noise Level

Issue: The projector produces a noticeable fan noise.

Solution: LED projectors typically generate more noise at higher brightness settings due to increased fan activity for cooling. If noise is a concern, you may consider using a low-power fan setting (if available) or adjusting brightness, though this might reduce image brightness and heat dissipation efficiency. Ensure the projector's vents are not obstructed.

7.3 Fuzzy Corners

Issue: The corners of the projected image appear blurry or out of focus.

Solution: Some projectors, especially those in a certain price range, may exhibit slight fuzziness in the corners. The manufacturer performs full testing before shipping to ensure it does not significantly affect video/movie watching. If precise corner clarity is critical, higher-performance, more expensive projectors may be required.
