Tools Required:
- Adjustable wrench
- Phillips screwdriver
- Plumber's putty or silicone sealant (optional)
- Flashlight
Installation Steps:
- Turn off Water Supply: Locate the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink and turn them off completely. Open the existing faucet to drain any remaining water.
- Remove Old Faucet (if applicable): Disconnect the old supply lines and unscrew the mounting nuts to remove the old faucet. Clean the sink surface thoroughly.
- Install Faucet Body:
- Place the rubber gasket (if provided) onto the bottom of the new faucet body.
- Insert the faucet body into the mounting hole on the sink or countertop.
- From underneath the sink, slide the metal washer and then the mounting nut onto the threaded shank of the faucet.
- Hand-tighten the mounting nut, then use an adjustable wrench to secure it firmly. Ensure the faucet is properly aligned before fully tightening.
- Connect Water Supply Lines:
- Attach the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet body (typically marked with 'H' for hot and 'C' for cold, or color-coded).
- Connect the other ends of the supply lines to the hot and cold water supply valves. Hand-tighten, then use a wrench for a snug fit. Do not overtighten.
- Check for Leaks:
- Slowly turn on the hot and cold water supply valves.
- Check all connections for leaks. If leaks are present, gently tighten the connections until they stop.
- Open the faucet handle to allow water to flow and flush out any debris from the lines.

Figure 3: Faucet Side View with Handle
Your IBERGRIF M22103 faucet features a single handle for controlling both water flow and temperature, and a removable spring spout for versatile use.
- Water Flow: Lift the handle upwards to increase water flow. Push it downwards to decrease and turn off the water.
- Water Temperature: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. Adjust the position between left and right to achieve the desired temperature.
- Removable Spring Spout: The spring spout is designed for flexibility. You can pull down the sprayer head from its holder for extended reach and maneuverability. After use, guide the sprayer head back into its holder.
Maintenance and Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your IBERGRIF faucet.
- Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
- Avoid Harsh Cleaners: Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, ammonia, bleach, or other harsh chemicals, as these can damage the chrome finish.
- Aerator Maintenance: If water flow decreases, the aerator may be clogged. Unscrew the aerator from the spout, clean any debris or mineral deposits, and reattach it.
- Check for Leaks: Periodically inspect all connections under the sink for any signs of leaks. Tighten connections gently if necessary.
Troubleshooting
Here are some common issues and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low Water Flow | Clogged aerator; partially closed shut-off valves; kinked supply lines. | Clean the aerator; ensure shut-off valves are fully open; check supply lines for kinks. |
| Leaking from Faucet Base | Loose mounting nut; damaged gasket. | Tighten the mounting nut; inspect and replace the gasket if damaged. |
| Leaking from Handle | Worn cartridge. | Contact customer support for a replacement cartridge. |
| Sprayer Not Retracting Properly | Weight on hose is dislodged or missing; debris in hose. | Check and re-secure the counterweight on the sprayer hose; flush the hose. |
