5. Setup Instructions
5.1 Connecting to a Display
The 3D Pandora Pro supports both HDMI and VGA video output. Choose the appropriate cable for your display.
- HDMI Connection: Connect one end of the provided HDMI cable to the 'HD' port on the console and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV or monitor.
- VGA Connection: Connect a VGA cable (not always included, check package contents) to the 'VGA' port on the console and to a VGA input on your display.
5.2 Powering On
- Ensure the console is securely connected to your display.
- Connect the 12V power adapter to the 'DC POWER' port on the console.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable electrical outlet.
- The console should power on automatically or may have a power button (if present, typically on the side or rear).
5.3 Resolution Settings
The mainboard supports HDMI default output resolution of 1280x720. VGA output supports 1280x720 and 640x480.
- If using VGA and you need to switch the resolution (e.g., from 1280x720 to 640x480), press and hold the 'SET' button on the mainboard while powering on the console for 3 seconds. The resolution will switch. Repeat the process to switch back.
6. Operation
6.1 Main Menu Navigation
Use the joysticks and buttons on the console to navigate the main menu. The main menu displays the list of available games.
6.2 Game Selection and Management
From the main menu, press the 1P start button to access the nine-palace function selection interface in the top right corner. This interface provides quick access to various features:
- Search Games: Quickly find games by name.
- 3D Game Classification: Filter and select 3D games.
- Multiplayer Game Classification: Select games supporting 3 or 4 players.
- Game Classification Retrieval: General game category search.
6.2.1 Game Settings
To enter game settings, navigate to the [game set] interface (refer to Picture 13 in the manual OCR). Press key A to enter the difficulty and life settings.
- Difficulty & Life Count: Select a game with the joystick, press key A to set difficulty parameters, and key B to set the number of lives. If you want other games to adopt the same parameters, press key C to enable [currently unified setting]. Press 1P start to return.
- Edit Game List (Hide/Show Games): From the [Game Settings] interface, press B to enter [Edit Game List] (refer to Picture 15 in the manual OCR). Use the joystick to select a game and press A to [Show/hide] it. A special logo will appear next to hidden games. To show all hidden games, press B for the [Show all games] option. To run a specific game and hide all others, select the game and press C. Press 1P start to return.
- Edit Favorites List: From the [Game Settings] interface, press B to enter [Edit Collection List] (refer to Picture 16 in the manual OCR). Use the joystick to select a game and press A to add it to favorites. Favorited games will appear at the top of the main menu. The console supports up to 99 favorite games. Press C to cancel all collections. Press 1P start to return.
6.2.2 In-Game Menu
During gameplay, press the [PAUSE] button on the console to bring up the pause menu (refer to Picture 12 in the manual OCR). Options typically include:
- Continue: Resume the game.
- Save State: Save your current game progress.
- Load State: Load a previously saved game state.
- Insert A Coin: Add virtual coins (if in commercial mode).
- Exit: Exit the current game.
6.3 System Settings
Press the 'SET' button on the mainboard (or console) to enter the Settings menu from the main menu or during a game.
6.3.1 IO Test
This option allows you to test if the coin pad, joystick, and key connections are functioning correctly.

6.3.2 Key Customization
This option allows players to customize their preferred key layout.

- Console Key Customization: For the 40P mainboard, this defines the arcade console keys. To customize, hold the 1P or 2P start key for 3 seconds to enter custom states. Define A-H keys as prompted, then press the 1P start key to complete. Undefined keys are automatically assigned. Press 1P start again to save and return.
- Gamepad Button Customization: The console supports standard USB gamepads. The customization method is similar to console keys.
- Restore Default Settings: This option allows you to restore console buttons or gamepad buttons to factory settings. Select the desired option and confirm with the 1P start button.
6.3.3 System Configuration
- Coin Investment Setting:
- [Free play]: Home mode, pause button (PAUSE) is open by default, locked to the pause menu to exit the game.
- [1:1 Currency, 2:1 currency... 9:1 Money], [1:2 Money... 1:9 Currency]: Commercial mode settings for coin-operated play.
- Exit Mode: Configures how to exit games to the menu.
- [Menu exit]: Press 1P start for 3 seconds in-game to pop up the exit menu.
- [Start key + coin drop]: Hold 1P start and insert a coin to exit.
- [Hold down the 1P start button for 3 seconds to exit]: Directly exits to the game menu without saving coin data.
- Pause Menu: [Open] / [Close]. Cooperates with exit mode for convenient exiting.
- Automatically Exits: If idle for 3 minutes, the game will automatically exit to the menu. Can be set to [3 minutes after the exit] / [close].
- Preference Pattern: Determines if coin investment is required to select games in the menu.
- Painting Quality Enhancement: [Open] / [Close]. Enhances picture quality with an optimization algorithm. Default is [Open].
- Scanning Line: [Open] / [Close]. Recreates the classic image tube arcade visual effect.
- Timing Mode: [Home game timing only] / [Full timing]. Sets whether arcade games use coins and home games use time, or if all games use timed play.
- Playtime: In timing mode, sets how long a game currency allows play (1-60 minutes).
- Handle Setting: Configures multi-player options:
- 1P and 2P arcade rocker keys + 2 gamepads for simultaneous play.
- 1P arcade rocker button + 1 handle for 3-player simultaneous play.
- Only 2 gamepads for play, without 1P and 2P arcade rocker keys.
6.3.4 Currency Management
The product has an account checking function to record total revenue. This is displayed in the [total game currency record] under currency management settings. To clear the currency number, you will be prompted to enter a password (initial value is 88888888). You can also change the password here. Remember to keep your password safe.
6.3.5 Audio Output
Enter background settings to adjust audio output. Setting to automatic selection means sound is emitted from the TV. If adjusted to analog output, sound is emitted from the machine's built-in speaker.
6.3.6 Language
The product supports English, Spanish, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. You can select your preferred language in the settings.
6.3.7 Save Settings
After making changes in the settings, select the [Save Settings] option and press button A to confirm. The console will automatically restart and enter the game menu. Do not lose power during this process.
6.3.8 Restore Default Settings
To restore factory settings, select the [Restore Default Settings] option and press button A. Confirm 'Yes' to proceed or 'No' to cancel. The console will automatically restart.
6.4 Adding Games (via UDisk)
The console supports adding games by copying them to a U-disk and inserting it into the designated path. The basic storage is 32GB, with 2GB reserved for game archives. If you need to add more games, consider replacing the U-disk with a larger capacity one.

7. User Tips
- Multiplayer Fun: The console supports up to 4 players simultaneously with external gamepads. Ensure you have enough controllers for your desired setup.
- Game Downloads: While the console does not support direct WiFi downloads, you can expand your game library by adding games via a USB U-disk.
- Custom Controls: Take advantage of the key customization feature to tailor controls to your preference for both the arcade sticks and external gamepads.
- Save Your Progress: Don't forget to use the 'Save State' feature for longer games, especially before taking a break.
- Explore Settings: Familiarize yourself with the system settings to optimize your experience, including picture quality, scanlines, and audio output.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the 12V power adapter is correctly connected to the console and a working power outlet.
- No Video Output: Check HDMI/VGA cable connections. Ensure your TV/monitor is set to the correct input source. Try adjusting the resolution as described in Section 5.3.
- No Sound: Verify audio cable connections (HDMI carries audio, or use separate audio output). Check the console's volume control and your TV/monitor's volume. Adjust audio output settings in the system configuration.
- Controls Unresponsive: Perform an 'IO Test' (Section 6.3.1) to check button and joystick functionality. Ensure external gamepads are properly connected.
- Game Freezes/Crashes: Try restarting the console. If a specific game consistently crashes, it might be corrupted; consider re-adding it if it was a custom addition.
- Cannot Save Settings: Ensure you select 'Save Settings' and confirm the action. Do not disconnect power during the saving process.
