Important Note: This device requires at least two units for communication. Please ensure you have 2 or more units for proper functionality.

3. Device Layout

4. Setup Instructions
4.1. SIM Card and Battery Installation
- Carefully open the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio.
- Insert up to two Nano SIM cards into the designated slots. Ensure they are correctly oriented.
- Insert the 6000mAh Lithium Polymer Battery into the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
4.2. Initial Charging
- Connect the Type-C charging cable to the TYPE-C interface on the radio.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the provided power adapter, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- The screen will indicate charging status. Allow the device to fully charge before first use.

4.3. Attaching Lanyard and Belt Clip
- Attach the lanyard to the designated loop on the top of the radio for convenient carrying.
- If desired, use the provided screws to attach the belt clip to the back of the radio.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
Long press the Power Switch button (located on the side) to turn the radio ON or OFF. The screen will display a welcome message upon startup.
5.2. Adjusting Volume
Use the Up and Down Toggle Button (located near the flashlight) to adjust the volume level. The radio will announce the current volume level.
5.3. Using the Flashlight
Long press the Power Switch button to activate the built-in flashlight. Long press again to turn it off.

5.4. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Communication
To transmit your voice, press and hold the PTT Call Button 1. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the button to listen for replies.
5.5. Menu Navigation and Settings
Use the Up and Down Toggle Button to navigate through the radio's menu options. Press the PTT Call Button 1 to select an option or confirm a setting. Available menu options include Group, Friend, Setting, and more.
5.6. Group Call Functionality
The G388 supports multiple call modes, including individual and group calls. Navigate to the 'Group' option in the menu to manage or initiate group communications. This feature allows for free grouping and immediate response.

- "Please insert SIM card" message: Verify that Nano SIM cards are properly inserted. If using Realptt, ensure the platform fees are active.
- No communication: Check network signal strength. Ensure both radios are powered on and configured for the same group/channel. Confirm SIM card data is active.
- Poor sound quality: Ensure the microphone and speaker are clear of obstructions. Check volume levels.
