Setup
1. Package Contents
Ensure all items are present in your package:

2. Mounting the Device
- Attach the bike mount to your handlebar or stem using the provided rubber rings.
- Align the back of the Blackbird computer with the mount.
- Twist the computer clockwise until it locks securely into place.
Safety Information: Please pay attention to safety during installation to prevent the device from falling off during your ride.
3. Initial Power-On and GPS Acquisition
- Press and hold the power button (usually on the side or bottom) to turn on the device.
- For initial GPS acquisition, take the device outdoors to an open area. The device will automatically search for satellite signals.
- The GPS icon on the display will become solid when a signal is acquired. The device supports two satellite positioning systems for accuracy.

4. Pairing External Devices (BB16S Only)
The BB16S supports linking with external speed, pedal frequency, and heart rate intelligent peripherals via universal Bluetooth radio.

3. Recording a Ride
- Ensure GPS signal is acquired (solid GPS icon).
- Press the Start button to begin recording your ride.
- During the ride, you can switch between data screens.
- To pause, press the Start/Stop button. Press again to resume.
- To end the ride, long press the Start/Stop button. The device will save the ride data.
4. Automatic Sleep and Auto-Pause
The device features automatic sleep and auto-pause functions to conserve battery and accurately record your ride data:
- Auto-Pause: When you stop moving during a ride, the device will automatically pause recording. Recording resumes when you start moving again.
- Automatic Sleep: If the device is inactive for a prolonged period (e.g., after a ride is finished and not turned off), it will enter a low-power sleep mode.
5. Data Synchronization
Synchronize and share your cycling records using the Blackbird cycling APP:
- Download and install the Blackbird cycling APP on your smartphone.
- Pair your bike computer with the APP via Bluetooth.
- The records are synchronized and uploaded to the APP.
- The APP supports FIT file export and sharing to other platforms.
Maintenance
1. Charging
The device uses a Type-C charging interface. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device and to a standard USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). A full charge typically takes a few hours.
2. Waterproofing
