3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB-C cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status and turn off when fully charged.

3.2 Installing a Memory Card

The A23Pro supports MicroSD/TF cards up to 256GB. For optimal performance, use a Class 10 (C10) or higher speed memory card. Insert the card into the designated slot until it clicks into place.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

The camera comes with a universal 1/4" screw mount and a helmet mount, along with 3M adhesive mounts for versatile attachment options:

  • Helmet Mount: Attach the camera to a helmet for hands-free recording during activities like cycling.
  • Body Clip: Use the integrated clip to attach the camera to clothing, such as a shirt pocket.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button to turn the camera on or off.

4.2 Recording Video

Once powered on, press the Record button to start video recording. Press it again to stop recording. The camera records in 2K resolution at 30 frames per second.

4.3 Taking Photos

While in standby mode, press the Photo button to capture still images. The camera supports up to 48M photo resolution.

4.4 Activating Night Vision

The A23Pro is equipped with four IR lights for advanced night vision. Refer to the on-screen menu or specific button for activating/deactivating night vision mode. This allows for clear footage in low-light or complete darkness.

4.5 Adjusting the 180° Rotatable Lens

The camera features a 180° rotatable lens. Short press the 'Down' button (or equivalent navigation button) to adjust the lens direction, allowing for creative angles and flexible recording.

4.6 Loop Recording

The camera supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full. You can set the maximum video clip duration to 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes (20 minutes is default).

4.7 Playback on 1.3 Inch Display

Use the integrated 1.3-inch display and navigation buttons to review recorded videos and photos directly on the device.

4.8 Connecting to a Computer

Connect the camera to your computer using the USB-C cable to transfer recorded files. The camera will appear as a removable disk.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body and lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures and fully charge the camera before long periods of inactivity.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the official BOBLOV website periodically for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Camera not turning on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
  • Recording issues (e.g., freezing, corrupted files): Check if the memory card is properly inserted and formatted. Try using a different, high-quality MicroSD card (Class 10 or higher).
  • Short battery life: Ensure the camera is fully charged. Recording at higher resolutions or with the screen/IR lights on will consume more power. Turn off the screen and IR lights when not needed for maximum recording time.
  • Night vision not working: Ensure night vision mode is activated in the camera settings.
  • Cannot connect to computer: Try a different USB-C cable or USB port on your computer. Ensure the camera is powered on when connected.
