2. Important Safety Information

• For indoor use only. Do not expose to liquids, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
• Do not exceed the maximum load of 1875W (15A). Overloading may cause damage to the unit and connected devices, and may pose a fire hazard.
• Do not disassemble or modify the device.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Ensure the wall outlet is properly grounded before plugging in the extender.
• If the surge protection indicator light is off, the surge protection feature may no longer be active.

5. Setup & Installation

1. Identify Outlet Type: This extender is designed for standard duplex wall outlets. It is also compatible with Decor Outlets, USB Receptacles, and GFCI Outlets.
2. Prepare for Installation: Ensure the wall outlet is clear of any obstructions.
3. Plug In: Align the prongs of the TESSAN Multi Wall Outlet Splitter with the slots of your wall outlet and push firmly until it is flush with the wall.
4. Secure with Screw (Recommended): For enhanced stability, especially when using multiple or heavy plugs, use the included screw to secure the extender to the center screw hole of your wall outlet. This prevents it from falling out when devices are plugged in or removed.
   • Note for USB Receptacle and GFCI Outlets: If installing into a USB receptacle or GFCI outlet, the small plastic stabilizing prong on the back of the extender may need to be carefully cut off before installation to ensure a flush fit.

6. Operation

Once installed, the TESSAN Multi Wall Outlet Splitter is ready for use.

• Using AC Outlets: Plug your electronic devices directly into any of the 8 AC outlets. The widely spaced design allows for multiple bulky adapters to be used simultaneously without interference.
• Using USB Ports: Connect your USB-powered devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, earphones) to the 2 USB-A ports or the 1 USB-C port using appropriate charging cables.
  • The USB-A ports provide up to 5V/2.4A each.
  • The USB-C port provides up to 5V/3.0A.
  • The total combined output for all USB ports is 15W (5V/3A).
• Simultaneous Charging: You can charge up to 11 devices (8 AC, 3 USB) simultaneously, provided the total power consumption does not exceed 1875W.

7. Surge Protection

This TESSAN Multi Wall Outlet Splitter is equipped with 1700 Joules of surge protection. This feature helps to safeguard your sensitive electronic devices from sudden power fluctuations, voltage spikes, and lightning strikes.

• Surge Protection Indicator: A red indicator light on the unit will illuminate when the surge protection is active and functioning correctly.
• Protection Status: If the red indicator light is off, it means the surge protection components have absorbed a significant surge and are no longer providing protection. In this case, the unit will continue to function as a power extender, but without surge protection. It is recommended to replace the unit to restore full protection.

• Keep the unit clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
• Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Ensure all plugs are fully inserted into the outlets.

• No power to devices:
  • Check if the wall outlet is functioning correctly by plugging in another device.
  • Ensure the TESSAN unit is securely plugged into the wall outlet.
  • Verify that the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed 1875W. Unplug some devices if overloaded.
• USB ports not charging:
  • Ensure your USB cable is not damaged and is properly connected to both the device and the TESSAN unit.
  • Try a different USB cable or device to rule out compatibility issues.
  • Confirm the total USB output (15W) is not exceeded by multiple devices.
• Surge protection light is off:
  • This indicates that the surge protection components have been consumed. The unit will still function as a power extender, but without surge protection. Consider replacing the unit for continued protection.
