The CHAOGENB Q19 Smart Watch is designed for children, offering a range of features to ensure safety and communication. This 2G smartwatch supports phone calls, SOS emergency functions, LBS location tracking, a camera for remote photography, and voice chat. It also includes an alarm clock and intelligent games to keep children engaged.

Package Contents

Upon opening your Q19 Smart Watch package, you should find the following items:

Setup Guide

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, charge the watch for at least 30 minutes. The watch may have no power after a long period of transportation.

2. SIM Card Installation

The Q19 Smart Watch is a 2G watch and only supports 2G networks. Please ensure a 2G network is available in your area before purchasing a SIM card. You will need to insert a 2G Micro SIM card. The SIM card must have an active phone plan and a 2G data network switched on. It cannot be used with a carrier that has shut down 2G networks.

  1. Turn off the watch completely.
  2. Locate the small gap on the back cover of the watch. Gently pry off the cover.
  3. Carefully lift the battery out of its compartment.
  4. Open the SIM card slot.
  5. Insert the Micro SIM card into the slot. Ensure the SIM card is inserted in the correct direction to avoid damage or unreadability.
  6. Push the SIM card slot lid forward until it clicks into place to secure the SIM card.
  7. Place the battery back into its compartment.
  8. Replace the back cover.
  9. Press and hold the power button to turn on the watch.
  10. Wait for approximately one minute after inserting the card. A signal bar should appear in the upper left corner of the watch. Once the signal is received normally, the watch will automatically correct the time.

3. App Download and Registration

To utilize the full features of the Q19 Smart Watch, you need to download and register the companion mobile application.

  1. After inserting the SIM card, scan the QR code provided in the user manual (or on the watch screen under 'Device Info' > 'Registration code') with your mobile phone to download the APP.
  2. Register an account within the application.
  3. On the watch, navigate to 'Device Info' and then select 'Registration code'.
  4. The watch will display a QR code and a series of English letters and numbers. This is your unique Registration Code.
  5. In the mobile app, enter this code or scan the QR code to bind the watch to your account. Each device has a unique ID and can only be used once for registration. Note that the IMEI number on the back of the watch is not the APP Registration code.

  • SOS Emergency Help: In case of an accident, the SOS emergency alarm function can be activated by pressing the SOS button. The watch will send a distress signal to a pre-set family number, allowing parents to respond quickly.

  • The watch is not waterproof; avoid contact with water.
  • Handle the SIM card slot and battery compartment with care during installation or removal.

Troubleshooting

No Signal / SIM Card Not Detected

  • Ensure your area has 2G network coverage. This watch only supports 2G networks.
  • Verify that the Micro SIM card is correctly inserted while the watch is turned off. Restart the watch after insertion.
  • Confirm that the SIM card has an active phone plan and 2G data network activated.
  • Be aware that some countries (Indonesia, Canada, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, South Korea) have widely shut down 2G networks. Check with your local carrier before purchasing. It may also not be available in some parts of Turkey.
  • If there is no signal, text messages cannot be sent or received.

Watch Interface Differences

  • The watch buckle band may vary (one or two loops) and is shipped randomly.
  • As the firmware is continuously updated, the user interface may be updated accordingly. Images in the manual are for reference only, and the actual product may vary slightly in appearance (e.g., English border and camera style).
