Setup
1. Charging the Earbuds and Case
Before first use, ensure both the earbuds and the charging case are fully charged.
- Place the earbuds into the charging case.
- Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the case and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included).
- The LED display on the charging case will show the battery percentage, indicating charging status.
- A full charge for the case typically takes about 1 hour. The earbuds will charge automatically when placed in the case.
2. Pairing with Your Device
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Search for available devices and select "J53" from the list.
- Once connected, you will hear a confirmation tone, and the earbuds will be ready for use.
3. Single Earbud Mode
You can use either earbud independently. Simply take one earbud out of the case, and it will automatically connect to the last paired device. If you take out the second earbud, they will automatically connect to each other for stereo sound.
Operating Instructions
The DRSAEC J53 earbuds feature smart touch controls for easy management of music and calls.
Touch Controls
- Play/Pause: Double-tap (x2) on either earbud.
- Previous/Next Track: Tap and hold (2s) on the left earbud for the previous track, or on the right earbud for the next track.
- Volume Up/Down: Single-tap (x1) on the left earbud to decrease volume, or on the right earbud to increase volume.
- Answer/Hang Up Call: Double-tap (x2) on either earbud.
- Reject Call: Tap and hold (2s) on either earbud.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple-tap (x3) on either earbud.
Power On/Off
- Power On: Open the charging case, or tap and hold the touch area for 3 seconds if earbuds are out of the case and off.
- Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid, or tap and hold the touch area for 5 seconds.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the earbuds and charging case. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
- Avoid Water: While designed for daily use, avoid submerging the earbuds in water. Wipe them dry immediately if they get wet.
- Charging: Use only the provided Type-C cable or a certified equivalent for charging.
Troubleshooting
- Earbuds not pairing: Ensure both earbuds are charged and out of the case. Turn off Bluetooth on your device, then turn it back on and try pairing again. If issues persist, try resetting the earbuds (refer to the 'Resetting Earbuds' section if available in a full manual, or place them back in the case and try again).
- Only one earbud working: Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, then open it again. This should force them to re-sync. Ensure both earbuds have sufficient charge.
- No sound: Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds. Ensure the earbuds are properly connected to your device.
- Charging case not charging: Verify the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source. Try a different charging cable or power adapter.
