7.1 Warranty Description

The frequency converter itself is covered by an 18-month warranty from the date of manufacture (subject to the bar code on the appearance) under normal use conditions. If failure or damage occurs within this period, the manufacturer will be responsible for the warranty.

A reasonable maintenance fee will be charged for issues occurring after 18 months or under the following conditions:

  • Damage caused by the user's failure to comply with the provisions of this manual.
  • Damage caused by external factors such as fire, flood, or abnormal voltage.
  • Damage caused by applying frequency converters to abnormal functions.

Relevant service costs will be calculated according to the manufacturer's standard rates. If a contract exists, it will be handled according to the principle of contract priority.

7.2 Additional Support

For detailed parameter settings, advanced configurations, and comprehensive communication protocols, please refer to the complete user manual available as a PDF: SUSWE SU-800/900 Series VFD User Manual (PDF).

8. User Tips

  • Motor Compatibility: When selecting a VFD, ensure its power rating (kW) and voltage (e.g., 220VCA or 380VCA) match your motor's specifications. For specialized applications like motors submerged in a well, verify the VFD's environmental ratings (e.g., IP rating) and ensure it can handle the specific load characteristics.
  • Braking Resistor: For applications requiring rapid deceleration or handling high inertia loads, a braking resistor may be necessary. Consult the wiring diagrams and specifications for your specific VFD model (e.g., 18KW 380V input/output) to determine if a braking resistor is required and how to connect it to the P+ and PB terminals.
  • Documentation: Always keep the user manual handy. For detailed parameter settings, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting, refer to the comprehensive PDF manual.
