Maintenance
1. TF Card Management
- Regular Formatting: It is advised to format TF cards regularly to prevent issues with file information retrieval and slow preview speeds, especially if many video files accumulate.
- Card Type: Always use a high-quality Class 10 Micro SD card. Low-quality or low-speed cards may cause the DVR to malfunction.
2. Lens Care
- Before shooting, always check the lens for dirt or fingerprints.
- Wipe the lens gently with lens paper to ensure clear image quality.
Troubleshooting (FAQ)
If you encounter any issues under normal operating conditions, refer to the solutions below:
- Cannot take photos or video: Check if the TF card has enough space and if it is locked.
- Recording stops automatically: This can happen due to large high-definition video data. Ensure you are using an SDHC compatible high-speed TF card with a C10 identity.
- "File" error or incomplete files when replaying pictures/videos: Use the Car DVR's "Format" function to reformat the TF card.
- Image is foggy: Check the lens for dirt or fingerprints. Clean the lens with lens paper before use.
- Recorder does not work: Use a sharp object to press the reset key, then restart the device to restore normal operation.
- Mobile phone cannot connect to the product: First, check if your mobile phone is connected to other Wi-Fi hotspots. The app can only connect to the recorder when your phone's Wi-Fi settings are specifically connected to the recorder's Wi-Fi network.
- Real-time picture on mobile phone is stuck: This is usually related to the Wi-Fi signal. If the mobile phone is too far from the recorder, the Wi-Fi signal may be weak. Additionally, too many surrounding Wi-Fi signals can interfere with the recorder, causing the real-time picture to lag or freeze.
- Preview speed in the album is very slow: This may be due to too many video files on the TF card, leading to a timeout when retrieving file information. Regular TF card formatting is recommended.
- Multiple mobile phones connecting: Only one mobile phone can be linked to the dash cam at a time. If your phone cannot connect, ensure no other mobile devices are currently connected.
- Issues playing video recordings on a computer: The product uses H.264 compression (MOV or MP4 format). Some default players (e.g., Windows Media Player) may not support H.264 encoding. If playback is not smooth, or frames are fixed/broken, or audio/video is out of sync, it is recommended to download professional playback software (such as Potplayer).
