6.1 Mode Switching
The device supports three modes: POE mode, Digital mode, and Analog mode. These modes can be switched freely using the Mode Button on the Receiver unit.

6.2 Cable Tracing (Analog & Digital)
This function helps locate a specific cable among a bundle.
- Connect one end of the network cable to the RJ45 port on the Transmitter.
- Turn on the Transmitter.
- Select the desired tracing mode (Analog or Digital) on the Receiver using the Mode Button.
- Use the Tracing Probe of the Receiver to scan the cables.
- Analog Signal: When an analog signal (L1 or L3) is displayed on the host, the line finder pen will display a red light and beep.
- Digital Signal: When a digital signal (L2) is displayed on the host, the line finder pen will display blue light flickers and vibrate.
6.3 POE Testing Function
This function tests standard and non-standard PoE devices, including voltage, power supply polarity, and power supply mode.
- Connect one end of the network cable to the NETWORK port of the PoE device.
- Connect the other end of the network cable to the RJ45 network port of the Transmitter unit.
- The Transmitter's display will show the PoE power supply voltage, line sequence, and positive/negative polarity.

6.4 Voltage Test Function
This function allows you to measure battery voltage and voltage polarity.
- Press the "V" button on the Transmitter to enter the voltage test function.
- Connect the crocodile clip cable to the RJ11 port on the Transmitter.
- Attach the red and black clips to the terminals of the battery or phone line you wish to test.
- The Transmitter's display will show the voltage value. A flashing display indicates positive polarity.
- Press "V" again to switch to PoE test mode.

6.5 Line Matching Function
This function helps verify the correct wiring of network cables.
- Insert one end of the network cable into the RJ45 port on the Transmitter.
- Connect the other end of the network cable to the RJ45 connector on the Receiver (line hunting pen).
- The line hunting lamp (1-8) on the Receiver will gradually flash, indicating the wire pairs are being tested.
6.6 ID Test
The ID test function is useful for identifying specific network cables in a multi-cable environment, such as when cables are distributed to computers in different rooms.
- Connect one end of the network cable to the RJ45 port on the Transmitter.
- Connect the other end of the network cable to a specific ID adapter (e.g., Remote ID 1, 2, 3, etc.).
- The ID number of the connected adapter will be displayed directly on the Transmitter's screen, allowing for convenient and fast cable identification.
6.7 Switch Alignment Blinking
This feature helps locate a network cable connected to a switch by causing the switch port's indicator light to blink.
- Connect the network cable to the RJ45 slot of the Transmitter unit.
- Insert the other end of the network cable into a port on the network switch.
- The Transmitter will issue a blinking signal. The corresponding switch Internet serial number light will flash, allowing you to identify the connected cable by matching the blinking pattern.
6.8 Continuity Test
This test checks for open or short circuits in a cable.
- Connect the cable to be tested to the appropriate port on the Transmitter (e.g., RJ45 for network cables, RJ11 with crocodile clips for other wires).
- Press the Continuity Test button on the Transmitter.
- The display will show "00Ω" for a continuous circuit or "OL" for an open circuit.

6.9 Adjustable Sensitivity & Flashlight
- Adjustable Sensitivity: The Receiver unit features a Volume Adjusting Wheel. Turn it down when the signal is strong to pinpoint the cable more accurately. Turn it up when the signal is weak to detect the cable from a greater distance.
- Flashlight: The Receiver unit includes an LED flashlight to assist in working in dark environments.
