5. Maintenance
5.1 Water Resistance

Figure 4: Water resistance capabilities of the PDS-644 watch.
- The PDS-644 watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, such as splashes, rain, and short periods of immersion in water (e.g., showering or bathing).
- DO NOT press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water or steam, as this can damage the seals.
- After exposure to saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and wipe it dry.
5.2 Cleaning
- Wipe the watch case and band regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt and sweat.
- For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth with mild soap, then wipe dry.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the watch's finish.
5.3 Battery Replacement
- When the digital display becomes dim or the watch stops functioning, the battery may need replacement.
- Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Digital Display is Blank or Dim
- Cause: Low battery.
- Solution: Replace the battery.
6.2 Analog Hands Not Moving
- Cause: Crown is pulled out, or battery is low/dead.
- Solution: Push the crown back in. If still not moving, replace the battery.
6.3 Time is Incorrect
- Cause: Time was not set correctly or was accidentally reset.
- Solution: Follow the 'Time Setting' instructions in Section 3 to reset both analog and digital times.
6.4 Water Inside the Watch
- Cause: Buttons pressed underwater, crown not fully pushed in, or seals are compromised.
- Solution: Immediately take the watch to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to dry it yourself.
7. User Tips
- Regular Sync: Periodically check and synchronize the analog and digital times to ensure accuracy, especially after battery changes.
- Button Awareness: Familiarize yourself with the function of each button to avoid accidental changes to settings.
- Band Comfort: The silicone band is designed for comfort and durability. Adjust it to a snug fit without being too tight for optimal wear during activities.
