1. Introduction

The LEPU Medical ER1-LB Dynamic ECG Recorder is a compact and portable device designed for continuous ECG monitoring. It offers real-time waveform display, single-lead acquisition, and can monitor for up to 7 days (depending on the version). The device is compatible with both mobile applications (ViHealth) and PC analysis software (AI-ECG Analysis System) for comprehensive heart health tracking.

The ER1-LB ECG Patch features a compact design, weighing no more than 18g. It provides real-time waveform display and single-lead acquisition. Continuous monitoring is available for up to 7 days (with versions offering 24, 72, or 168 hours of recording). It can be worn using either a chest strap or disposable 3.5mm electrodes.

2. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the ER1-LB device and all accessories from the packaging. Verify that all components are present: the ER1-LB recorder, a USB charging/data cable, disposable electrode patches, and a chest strap.

3. Operating Instructions

  1. Wearing the Device:
    • Using the Chest Strap: Securely attach the ER1-LB device to the chest strap. Place the chest strap around your chest, ensuring the electrodes make good contact with your skin. Refer to the image for proper placement.

    • Using Disposable Electrode Patches: Attach two disposable electrode patches to the ER1-LB device. Apply the patches to your chest, ensuring good skin contact. Refer to the image for proper placement, typically at a 45-degree angle.

    Important: Ensure clean, dry skin for optimal electrode contact.

  2. Starting Measurement: The ER1-LB features a "One Touch Test" for ease of use. Once properly worn and connected to the app, initiate recording through the ViHealth mobile application or the device itself.
  3. Monitoring:
    • The device provides real-time waveform display on the connected mobile app.

    • The device's screen interface provides status indicators such as ID, PC connection status, battery level, and alerts for "Missing Leads" or "Uninterpretable ECG."
  4. Data Review and Analysis:
    • Mobile App (ViHealth): View real-time ECG data and basic analysis directly on your smartphone.
    • PC Software (AI-ECG Analysis System): For detailed reports and in-depth analysis, connect the ER1-LB device to a computer with the AI-ECG Analysis System software installed. The software can generate comprehensive reports including:
      • Overview of ECG data
      • Supraventricular rhythm analysis
      • Ventricular rhythm analysis
      • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
      • ECG report conclusion
      • Hourly statistics table of ECG/EKG data
      • ECG/EKG Fragment analysis
      • Identification of events like Overall Max/Min Heart Rate, Premature Supraventricular Contraction (PAC), Couple of PAC, PAC Trigeminy, and Supraventricular Tachycardia.

4. Maintenance

  1. Cleaning:
    • Wipe the ER1-LB device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
    • Clean the chest strap and electrode contact points regularly with a mild disinfectant and allow to air dry completely.
  2. Storage:
    • Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
    • Keep disposable electrode patches in their sealed packaging until use to maintain adhesive quality.
  3. Battery Care: Charge the device regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health. Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.

5. Troubleshooting

    • Check that the electrodes (either disposable patches or chest strap) are making firm and complete contact with your skin.
    • Ensure your skin is clean and dry.
    • Replace disposable electrode patches if they are old or have lost their adhesive quality.
  • "Uninterpretable ECG" Indicator:
    • Minimize movement during recording. Stay still and avoid talking.
    • Ensure there is no strong electromagnetic interference nearby.
    • Re-apply electrodes or adjust the chest strap for better contact.
  • App Not Connecting via Bluetooth:
    • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
