1. Introduction

The AOCHUAN Smart M2pro is a versatile AI single-axis stabilizer designed for smartphones, functioning as a gimbal, selfie stick, and tripod. It features advanced AI face tracking, gesture control, and a detachable Bluetooth remote, making it ideal for vlogging, live streaming, and capturing stable photos and videos without the need for a dedicated application.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the gimbal stabilizer and the magnetic fill light using the provided USB-C charging cable. The gimbal's battery can last up to 10 hours on standby. The fill light can maintain 180 minutes of shooting in third gear light mode, or 5 hours in first gear light mode.

3.2 Mounting Your Smartphone

1. Extend the phone clamp on the gimbal.
2. Carefully place your smartphone (4.0-6.2 inches) into the clamp, ensuring it is securely held.
3. Adjust the phone's position to ensure it is balanced.

3.3 Attaching the Magnetic Fill Light

The magnetic fill light can be easily attached to the top of the phone clamp for enhanced illumination during shooting.

3.4 Bluetooth Remote Pairing

1. Remove the detachable Bluetooth remote control from the gimbal handle.
2. Turn on the remote control (usually by pressing and holding a button until an indicator light flashes).
3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
4. Select "AOCHUAN Remote" or a similar name to pair. The indicator light on the remote will stop flashing once paired.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the gimbal handle to turn the device on or off. An indicator light will confirm the status.

4.2 Gimbal Modes and Stability

The Smart M2pro offers powerful anti-shake and automatic balance technology for smooth footage. It can be used in various configurations:

• Gimbal Stabilizer Mode: Provides stable, anti-shake video recording.
• Selfie Stick Mode: Extend the stick for wider shots. Once locked, it functions as a traditional selfie stick.
• Tripod Mode: Unfold the reinforced tripod legs for stable stationary shots or live streaming.

4.3 AI Face Tracking & Gesture Control

The built-in AI recognition camera allows for intelligent face tracking without needing any external app. Use simple hand gestures to control tracking:

• OK Gesture: Start tracking.
• Palm Gesture: Pause tracking.
• Two-hand 'L' Gesture: Turn gesture recognition on or off.

4.4 Gimbal Rotation

The gimbal supports extensive rotation for flexible shooting angles:

• 360° Rotation (Horizontal and Vertical Axis): Meets needs for horizontal and vertical shooting.

4.5 Remote Control Functions

The Bluetooth remote control provides convenient shooting options:

• Single Click: 200° automatic rotation.
• Double Click: 200° forward and reverse rotation twice.
• Triple Click: 360° unlimited rotation.

4.6 RGB Fill Light Operation

The magnetic fill light enhances your video and photo quality:

• Power On/Off: Press the light button.
• Adjust Brightness: Cycle through 3-stop adjustable brightness levels.
• Color Temperatures: Choose from 7 color temperatures.
• Gradient Mode: Double click the light button to activate gradient mode (seven lights change alternately).
• Adjust Gradient Speed: In gradient mode, click the 'M' key to control the alternating speed.
• Red/Blue Alternating Light: Double click the 'M' button to set the fill light to alternating red/blue.

5. Maintenance

• Keep the device clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Store the gimbal in a cool, dry place when not in use.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself, as this will void the warranty.

6. Troubleshooting

• Device not powering on: Ensure the device is fully charged.
• Bluetooth remote not connecting: Make sure the remote is charged and within range. Re-pair the remote via your phone's Bluetooth settings.
• Gimbal not stabilizing: Ensure your phone is properly mounted and balanced in the clamp.
• AI tracking issues: Ensure the AI recognition camera is clean and unobstructed. Check lighting conditions. Try the two-hand 'L' gesture to reset gesture recognition.
