4. Product Overview
The SNAKOL Laser Distance Meter features a high-definition screen and intuitive button layout for easy operation. Familiarize yourself with the components and controls:

- Reflecting Laser / Shoot a Laser: The laser emitter and receiver.

5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The device requires 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert three AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off
- Press the POWER button to turn on the device.
- Press and hold the POWER button to turn off the device.
6.2 Changing Measurement Reference
The device can measure from its front end or rear end. Press the Measuring Reference Selection Key to toggle between these options.

- Select the area measurement mode using the FUNC button.
- Measure the length by pressing MEAS.

- Select the volume measurement mode using the FUNC button.
- Measure the length by pressing MEAS.

6.3.5 Pythagorean (Indirect) Measurement
This mode allows you to measure inaccessible heights or distances using the Pythagorean theorem.
- Select the Pythagorean measurement mode using the FUNC button.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to measure the required sides (e.g., hypotenuse and one leg).
- The device will calculate and display the indirect measurement.

6.4 Data Storage
The device can store up to 20 groups of measurement data. You can save and view your measurements at any time.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in its protective pouch in a dry, cool place when not in use.
