4. Setup Guide
4.1 Powering the Main Unit
The main unit can be powered by either 3 x AAA batteries (not included) or a DC 5V power supply via the included USB cable.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- USB Power: Connect the provided USB cable to the DC 5V port on the main unit and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port.
4.2 Powering the Remote Sensors
Each wireless remote transmitter requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included).
- Open the battery compartment on the back of each remote sensor.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing correct polarity.
- Select a channel (1, 2, or 3) for each sensor using the small switch inside the battery compartment. Ensure each sensor is set to a unique channel.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
4.3 Initial Synchronization & Placement
Once powered, the main unit will automatically search for signals from the remote sensors. Place the main unit and sensors close to each other during initial setup for faster synchronization.
- Main Unit Placement: The main unit can be placed on a flat surface using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall using the hanging hole on the back.
- Remote Sensor Placement: Remote sensors can be placed outdoors or in other rooms. Ensure they are within the wireless range of the main unit and protected from direct sunlight and heavy rain. The sensors also have a small stand and a wall-mounting option.

- Muting Alarms: Press any key to mute the alarm sound for 5 seconds. The alarm icon will continue to flash until the condition returns to normal.

7. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries in both the main unit and remote sensors when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries in a set at the same time.
- Cleaning: Clean the device with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Display on Main Unit: Check if batteries are correctly inserted and charged, or if the USB power cable is securely connected.
- No Remote Sensor Readings: Ensure remote sensor batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. Verify that each sensor is set to a unique channel (1, 2, or 3). Press and hold the CHANNEL button on the main unit to initiate a manual search for sensor signals. Ensure sensors are within wireless range and not obstructed by thick walls or large metal objects.
- Inaccurate Readings: Allow the main unit and sensors to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after setup. If readings still seem off, the device has a temperature and humidity calibration function (refer to the manual for specific calibration steps, if detailed).
- Alarm Not Sounding: Check if the alarm function is activated (ALERT button). Ensure alarm limits are set correctly.

10. User Tips
- Battery Operation: The main unit can indeed operate solely on 3 x AAA batteries, offering flexibility in placement without needing a constant power outlet. Remote sensors also require batteries.
- Freezer/Refrigerator Use: Given the outdoor temperature test range of -50℃ to 70℃, the remote sensors are suitable for monitoring temperatures inside freezers or refrigerators, provided they are placed in a way that doesn't interfere with door seals and are protected from direct moisture.
- Optimal Sensor Placement: For accurate outdoor readings, place remote sensors in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, and protected from heavy precipitation.
