Operating Instructions
Brewing Coffee:
- Fill Water Tank: Open the lid and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (800 ml, approximately 6 cups).
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place a paper filter (size 1x2 or 1x4, depending on model, or the reusable filter) into the filter holder. Add your desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one level scoop (approx. 7g) per cup.
- Position Jug: Ensure the glass jug is correctly placed on the heating plate.
- Start Brewing: Plug the coffee maker into a grounded power outlet and press the power switch to turn it on. The brewing process will begin.
- Keep Warm Function: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker's automatic heat preservation function will keep the coffee warm on the heating plate.
- Serve: Carefully remove the jug to pour coffee. The anti-drip system will temporarily stop the flow of coffee.

Care and Maintenance
Daily Cleaning:
- Unplug: Always unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Discard Grounds: Remove and discard the used coffee filter and grounds.
- Wash Removable Parts: Wash the glass jug, filter holder, and any reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts may also be dishwasher safe (check product specific instructions if available, otherwise hand wash is recommended).
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
- Do NOT Immerse: Never immerse the main unit of the coffee maker in water or any other liquid.
Descaling:
Mineral deposits from water can build up over time and affect performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly (e.g., every 2-3 months, or more often in hard water areas).
- Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions, or use a mixture of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water).
- Pour the solution into the water tank.
- Place the empty glass jug on the heating plate.
- Run a brewing cycle.
- After the cycle, turn off the coffee maker and let the solution sit in the jug for about 15-30 minutes.
- Discard the solution and rinse the jug thoroughly.
- Run 2-3 cycles with fresh, clean water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Coffee maker does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet not working; faulty power switch. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working, grounded outlet. Check the power switch. |
| Coffee is not brewing. | No water in the tank; jug not correctly placed; clogged filter. | Fill the water tank. Ensure the jug is properly seated on the heating plate. Check if the filter is clogged and clean/replace if necessary. |
| Coffee tastes weak or too strong. | Incorrect coffee-to-water ratio; coffee grounds too coarse/fine. | Adjust the amount of coffee grounds. Use medium-ground coffee for drip machines. |
| Water leaks from the coffee maker. | Water tank overfilled; jug not correctly placed; anti-drip mechanism faulty. | Do not overfill the water tank. Ensure the jug is correctly positioned. If leaking persists, contact support. |
| Coffee is not hot enough. | Heating plate not functioning; descaling needed. | Ensure the keep-warm function is active. Descale the coffee maker if mineral buildup is suspected. |
User Tips
- Reusable Filter: If your model includes a reusable filter, it can be washed and reused. This is an eco-friendly alternative to paper filters. Ensure it is thoroughly cleaned after each use to prevent residue buildup and maintain coffee flavor.
- For optimal flavor, use freshly ground coffee beans.
