7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your convector heater, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Heater does not turn on. | No power supply; power button not pressed; safety feature activated. | Check if the heater is properly plugged in. Ensure the power outlet is functional. Press the power button. If a safety feature (like auto-off for fall/overheating) was activated, unplug, wait for it to cool, and then restart. |
| Heater is on but not heating. | Temperature setting too low; power level set to low; room temperature already reached. | Increase the desired temperature setting. Ensure the power level is set to High (2000W) if maximum heat is desired. The heater will stop heating once the set temperature is reached. |
| Wi-Fi control not working. | Heater not connected to Wi-Fi; app issue; Wi-Fi signal weak. | Ensure the heater is properly connected to your home Wi-Fi network. Check your smartphone's Wi-Fi connection. Restart the app or the heater. |
| Unusual noises or smells. | Dust accumulation; internal fault. | Unplug the heater and clean it thoroughly (refer to Maintenance section). If the issue persists, discontinue use and contact customer support. |

- Power Consumption: Higher wattage models like the 2000W Ready Warm 6770 will generally consume more electricity than lower wattage models (e.g., 1200W) when operating at full power. To manage consumption, utilize the 1000W low power setting when less heat is needed, and make full use of the weekly/daily programmer to heat only when necessary.
- Optimal Placement: For best heating performance, place the convector heater in a central location within the room, away from drafts and obstructions.
- Wi-Fi Benefits: Leverage the Wi-Fi control feature to pre-heat rooms before you arrive home or to adjust settings without needing to be physically near the unit.
