4. Setup
4.1. Power Connection
Connect a DC12V 1A power adapter (not included) to the camera's power input interface. Ensure the power supply meets the specified requirements to prevent damage to the device.
4.2. App Installation
To monitor the camera from your mobile device, download and install the ICSee or XMEye app. You can scan the QR code below or search for the app in your device's app store (iOS App Store or Android Google Play Store).

4.3. Network Connection
The camera supports both WiFi and LAN cable connections. For initial setup or if WiFi is not available, you can connect the camera to your network router using a LAN cable. For WiFi connection, ensure the camera is within range of your wireless network.
4.4. TF Card Installation
The camera supports a TF (microSD) card up to 128GB for local storage of recordings. Locate the TF card slot on the camera, insert the card gently until it clicks into place. Ensure the camera is powered off before inserting or removing the TF card.
4.5. Initial Configuration
The camera's default IP address is 192.168.1.10. The default username is admin and the password is empty (null). If you encounter a "Can not find the Device" error, it indicates an IP address conflict or that the camera's default IP is not in the same network segment as your router. You will need to change the camera's IP address to match your network segment (e.g., if your router's IP is 192.168.0.1, change the camera's IP to 192.168.0.XX). Use the "DeviceManage" tool to find and modify the IP address and upgrade firmware.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Video Monitoring
The camera supports monitoring from multiple devices simultaneously, including mobile phones, computers, and tablets. Use the ICSee or XMEye app for mobile viewing, or CMS PC client software for computer viewing.

5.2. Night Vision
The camera is equipped with 940nm IR LEDs for invisible infrared night vision, providing clear black and white images in low-light conditions up to 30 meters. The built-in IR-CUT double filter automatically switches between day and night modes to enhance color purity and night vision effect, preventing color distortion.

5.3. Audio
The camera features a built-in microphone for one-way audio monitoring, allowing you to hear sounds from the camera's vicinity.
5.4. Alarm Recording and Motion Detection
The camera supports P2P motion detection, video loss detection, and network break alerts. When an alarm is triggered, the camera can send email alerts and upload recordings to an FTP server.

5.4.1. Setting up Motion Detection
Access the camera via Internet Explorer (IE) or CMS software. Navigate to "device configuration" -> "alarm function" -> "motion detection", enable it, and save the settings.
5.4.2. FTP Upload
The camera can upload video and pictures to an FTP server. Pictures will upload continuously, while video files will upload after an alarm event is completed. Recommended FTP servers include Server-U and FileZilla FTP Server.
5.4.3. Email Alarm
For email alarms, use an email server that supports SMTP protocol. Note that Hotmail and Yahoo may not support SMTP, and Gmail support may be temporary due to server issues.
6. Maintenance
The camera has an IP66 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against dust and powerful water jets. However, it is not designed for submersion. Regularly clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the lens or housing.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. "Can not find the Device" Error
If you receive a "Can not find the Device" notification even if you see the default IP address (192.168.1.10) in the menu, it indicates an IP address conflict. The camera's default IP address is likely not in the same network segment as your router. To resolve this:
- Use the "DeviceManage" tool to find and change the camera's IP address.
- Change the camera's IP address to be in the same network segment as your router. For example, if your router's IP address is 192.168.0.1, change the camera's IP address to 192.168.0.XX (where XX is a unique number).
7.2. NVR Compatibility
Our camera's ONVIF protocol is ONVIF Profile S and does not support HTTPS protocol. If using an NVR from another manufacturer, ensure it supports the ONVIF protocol. Auto-focus cameras may only allow zooming, not focusing, with other manufacturers' NVRs.
7.3. RTSP URL for VLC Media Player
The RTSP port is 554. The format for the RTSP URL is:
rtsp://(IP):(PORT)/user=(USER)&password=(PWD)&channel=(Channel)&stream=(Stream).sdp?Real_stream
Example: rtsp://10.6.10.25:554/user=admin&password=&channel=1&stream=0.sdp?Real_stream (stream=0 for primary stream, 1 for auxiliary stream).
If accessing via a public network, the RTSP port (default 554) needs to be open and can be set in the network service-RTSP settings.
7.4. DDNS Setup
For DDNS functionality, map media TCP port 34567 and HTTP port 80. Note that HTTP port 80 may need to be changed to a non-80 port if there are conflicts. Supported DDNS domain names include CN99, DynDns, Oray, NO-IP, and MYQ-SEE.
