Setup Guide

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the boat.
  2. Connect the rechargeable 12V 20A lithium battery to the boat's power connector.
  3. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment.
  4. Securely close the battery compartment cover.

2. Booster Installation

Attach the quick-fitting boosters to the motor outlets at the rear of the boat. These boosters help protect the motors during operation.

3. Bait Loading

  1. Open the large capacity hopper cover.
  2. If desired, install the detachable silo partition to create dual compartments for different types of bait.
  3. Load up to 3KG (6.6 lbs) of bait into the hopper.
  4. Close the hopper cover securely.

4. Fish Finder Installation (Fishfinder Version Only)

  1. Check the condition of the upper and lower covers of the fish finder probe.
  2. Rotate the cap of the fish finder to align it up and down.
  3. Install the fishing rack at the designated position on the boat.
  4. Attach the hanging rope to the fish finder and secure it to the boat.

5. Remote Control Preparation

Attach the remote control lanyard for convenient operation and to prevent accidental drops. Ensure the remote control battery is charged using the provided charging cable.

Operation Guide

1. Remote Control Overview

The 4.3-inch HD large screen multi-function controller provides comprehensive control and information. Familiarize yourself with the buttons and display indicators:

  • Speed Adjustment Wheel: Adjusts the boat's speed.
  • Left/Right Joystick: Controls boat movement (forward, backward, steering).
  • Left/Right Hopper Control Valve: Opens and closes the bait hoppers.
  • Light/Cruise Button: Controls lights and activates cruise mode.
  • Calibration/Frequency: For calibrating the boat and setting frequency.
  • Fishing Ground: Selects pre-set fishing grounds.
  • Origin: Sets or returns to the origin point.
  • Clear: Clears positioning points.
  • Cancel: Cancels menu options.
  • Up/Down/Left/Right/OK: Navigation and selection buttons for the display menu.

2. Driving and Speed Control

Use the joysticks to maneuver the boat. The 550 Dual Motor system offers 2-speed mode switching for different conditions. Push the direction control lever forward for about 2 seconds and then press the "cruise control" button to enter cruise mode. In cruise mode, the boat will travel in a straight line at a constant speed, and the navigation direction can be adjusted through the remote control.

3. Bait Release

Use the Left/Right Hopper Control Valves on the remote to release bait from the respective hoppers. The boat supports single or dual hopper release.

4. Fishing Net and Hook Release

The boat features a dual fishing net release device at the rear. Additionally, it supports hanging a fish hook and placing the hook into a designated den for efficient trawling.

5. GPS Autopilot and Anchor Points

The built-in GPS global positioning system allows for precise navigation. You can set up to 9 fishing grounds, with each ground supporting 20 anchor points, totaling 180 anchor points. The boat can navigate between these points automatically.

6. Fish Finder Function (Fishfinder Version Only)

The wireless fish finder operates with a sonar beam angle of 90 degrees, a wireless operation range of 100m/328ft, and can detect depths from 2-120ft. The fish finder display provides real-time information on underwater conditions.

7. Night Navigation Lights

The boat is equipped with double high brightness night navigation lights and turn signal lights, offering two lighting modes for visibility in dark environments.

Maintenance

  • Waterproof Integrity: The boat features a fully sealed EVA ring and double-layer waterproof sponge to isolate water from the hull. Regularly inspect these seals for any signs of wear or damage to maintain waterproofing.
  • Motor Care: The 550 Dual Motors are equipped with a water cooling system to protect them and extend their lifespan. Ensure the water intake and outlet are clear of obstructions.

  • Propellers: Check propellers for any damage or entanglement after each use. Replace spare propellers as needed.
