4.3.2. Using the Hardwire Kit (for 24H Parking Monitor)
For continuous 24-hour parking monitoring, a hardwire kit is required. This involves connecting the dash cam directly to your car's fuse box. Professional installation is recommended.

Figure 5: Hardwire Kit Installation Steps
Hardwire Kit Installation Steps:
- Connect to the power interface of the recorder: Plug the hardwire kit into the dash cam's power input.
- Open the fuse box cover: The position of the fuse box may vary between car models.
- Installation and use method of step-down line:
- To judge normal power and ACC: Use an electric pen. The red wire of the step-down wire is connected to the car ACC (the light is on when the car is on, off when the car is off). The yellow wire of the step-down wire is connected to the normal power of the car (the light is always on).
- Connect the black wire with iron and fasten it with the car screws.
- Test whether the step-down line is working properly:
- When the vehicle starts to ignite, the LED light of the step-down line should be blue.
- When the output of the step-down line is normal, the recorder is turned on and works normally.
- When the vehicle is turned off, the LED of the step-down line is red, the ACC of the step-down line turns off the output, and the recorder enters the parking monitoring mode.
- Installation method without taking electrical appliances: Wrap the red wire ACC of the step-down cable around the pin of the car ACC fuse and then plug it back in. Wrap the positive pole of the yellow wire of the step-down wire around the foot of the car's normal power fuse and then plug it back in.
- Then hide the wire along the edge into the gap and fix the wire harness. Use a tool along the edge of the harness to snap into the gap (top/side seam).
- Close the fuse box cover - complete.

4.4. Rear Camera Connection (if applicable)
If your package includes a rear camera, connect its cable to the AV-In port on the main dash cam unit. Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear windshield and mount the camera securely.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: The dash cam will automatically power on when the vehicle starts and power off when the engine is turned off (if connected to ACC power). You can also manually power on/off using the power button.
- Recording: Once powered on, the dash cam will automatically begin loop recording.
- Menu Navigation: Use the 'OK', 'M' (Menu), 'Up', and 'Down' buttons on the device to navigate through settings and options.
5.2. Initial Settings
Upon first use, or after a reset, you may need to configure basic settings:
- Language: Navigate to 'Language' in the settings menu and select your preferred language (e.g., English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Arabic, Vietnamese).
- Date/Time: Set the correct date and time in 'Clock Settings' or 'Date Format'.
- Format SD Card: It is crucial to format the SD card before first use to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Go to 'Format SD-Card' in the settings menu and confirm.
5.3. Key Features
5.3.1. Loop Recording
The dash cam continuously records video in short segments (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unprotected files are automatically overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.

Figure 7: Loop Recording Functionality
5.3.2. G-Sensor (Emergency Lock)
The built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements or impacts (e.g., collisions). When triggered, it automatically locks the current video segment (10 seconds before and 30 seconds after the event) to prevent it from being overwritten by loop recording. You can adjust the G-sensor sensitivity (Off, Low, Middle, High) in the settings menu.
5.3.3. 24H Parking Monitor
With the optional hardwire kit, the dash cam can monitor your vehicle even when parked. If a collision or shaking is detected, the dash cam will automatically turn on and record, locking the video file. This feature provides continuous protection against vandalism or hit-and-runs.

6. Troubleshooting
- Dash Cam not powering on:
- Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the dash cam, GPS module (if used), and the car's power source.
- Check the car charger or hardwire kit for any damage.
- Verify the car's cigarette lighter socket or fuse box is providing power.
- Recording issues (e.g., not recording, corrupted files):
- Ensure an SD card is inserted correctly.
- Format the SD card regularly (at least once a month).
- Use a high-quality Class 10 or U3 speed Micro SD card from a reputable brand.
- Check if the SD card is full; loop recording should overwrite old files, but locked files will remain.
- Wi-Fi connection problems:
- Ensure the Wi-Fi function is enabled in the dash cam settings.
- Make sure you are within range of the dash cam's Wi-Fi signal.
- Restart both the dash cam and your smartphone.
- Reinstall the "WIFI Camera" app.
