The EOENKK 5-inch Video Baby Monitor provides a secure and private way to monitor your baby. It features a high-definition color LCD display, 2.4GHz wireless transmission, and a range of functions designed to ensure your baby's comfort and safety.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Powering On

  1. Connect one AC power adapter to the Baby Unit (camera) and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Connect the second AC power adapter to the Parent Unit (monitor) and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Press and hold the Power On/Off button on both units until they turn on.

3.2 Camera Placement

Place the Baby Unit (camera) in a location that provides a clear view of your baby's crib or play area. Ensure it is out of reach of children. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a wall using the provided screw set and wall mount shim.

3.3 Monitor Placement

Keep the Parent Unit (monitor) within the transmission range (up to 900 ft. in open space) of the Baby Unit. Avoid placing it near other electronic devices that may cause interference.

3.4 Multi-Camera Setup (Optional)

The monitor supports up to 4 cameras. To add additional cameras, refer to the 'Camera Pairing' section in the full user manual (PDF reference, if available) or the monitor's menu settings.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Monitor Controls

  • Power On/Off: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume +/-: Adjust the listening volume.
  • Brightness +/-: Adjust the screen brightness.
  • OK Button: Confirm selections in the menu.
  • MENU Button: Access the main menu for settings.
  • Pan/Tilt Controls: Use the directional buttons to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle (360° horizontal, 115° vertical).
  • Talk to Baby Button: Press and hold to speak through the camera to your baby.

4.2 Pan, Tilt, and Zoom

Use the directional buttons on the Parent Unit to remotely control the camera's pan (horizontal) and tilt (vertical) movements. Press the 'OK' button to activate 2x digital zoom, allowing for a closer view of your baby.

4.3 Two-Way Audio

Both the monitor and camera have built-in microphones and speakers. Press and hold the 'Talk to Baby' button on the Parent Unit to speak to your baby. Release the button to hear your baby's response.

4.4 Lullabies

The monitor includes 8 built-in lullabies. Access the menu on the Parent Unit to select and play lullabies to soothe your baby. You can also adjust the volume of the lullabies.

4.5 Temperature Monitoring

The Baby Unit is equipped with a high-precision temperature sensor. The current room temperature will be displayed on the Parent Unit. You can set high and low temperature alarms in the menu to be notified if the room temperature falls outside a comfortable range for your baby.

4.6 Automatic Night Vision

The camera automatically activates infrared night vision in low-light conditions, providing a clear black and white image of your baby up to 5 meters away, even in complete darkness.

4.7 Timer Setting

Utilize the timer function in the menu to set reminders for feeding, diaper changes, or other important baby care tasks.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor and camera units. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the Parent Unit's battery frequently. Charge it regularly.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure both units are powered off and stored in a cool, dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

No Picture/Sound on Parent Unit:

  • Ensure both the Parent Unit and Baby Unit are powered on and connected to power.
  • Check if the units are within range of each other.
  • Adjust the volume and brightness settings on the Parent Unit.
  • Re-pair the camera if necessary (refer to the full user manual for pairing instructions).

Interference or Poor Signal:

  • Move the Parent Unit closer to the Baby Unit.
  • Relocate the units away from other electronic devices (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers) that may cause interference.
  • Ensure there are no large obstacles (e.g., thick walls) between the units.

Battery Not Holding Charge:

  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the Parent Unit and the power outlet.
  • Allow sufficient time for the battery to charge (several hours for a full charge).
  • If the battery life has significantly decreased over time, it may need replacement.
