6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Lefant M1. Always turn off the robot and disconnect it from the charging dock before performing any maintenance.

6.1 Dust Box and Filters

  • Empty the dust box after each cleaning cycle.
  • Clean the high-efficiency filters regularly. Tap them gently to remove dust or use a cleaning brush. Replace filters as recommended (typically every 3-6 months, depending on usage).

6.2 Water Tank and Mopping Pads

  • Empty any remaining water from the water tank after each mopping session.
  • Clean the reusable cleaning cloth after each use.
  • Replace disposal cleaning cloths as needed.
  • Ensure the mopping pad plate is clean and free of debris.

6.3 Brushes

  • Regularly check the side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Remove and clean them. Replace worn-out side brushes.
  • Inspect the main roller brush (if applicable) for tangles and clean it using the provided cleaning tool.

6.4 Sensors and Charging Contacts

  • Wipe the sensors and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging dock with a dry cloth to ensure proper function.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Lefant M1, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • Robot not charging: Ensure the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock are clean and properly aligned. Check if the power adapter is securely plugged in.
  • Robot stuck or navigating erratically: Clear any obstacles from the robot's path. Clean the sensors to ensure they are not obstructed. Check the app for any error messages or map issues.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dust box, clean or replace filters, and clean the brushes. Ensure the suction level is appropriate for the surface.
  • Mopping not effective: Ensure the water tank is filled and properly installed. Check the water flow setting in the app. Clean or replace mopping pads.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Restart your router, the robot, and your phone. Try re-pairing the robot with the app.

For more detailed troubleshooting or persistent issues, please contact customer support.

8. User Tips

  • Correct Plug Type: When purchasing, ensure you select the correct plug type (EU/UK/US/JP/AU/KR) for your region to avoid compatibility issues.
  • Pre-Clean Area: For optimal performance, remove large obstacles, loose cables, and small items from the floor before starting a cleaning cycle.
  • Regular Map Updates: If you rearrange furniture significantly, consider resetting or updating the map in the app to ensure the robot navigates efficiently.
  • Pet Hair Management: For homes with pets, consider more frequent cleaning cycles and regular brush cleaning to prevent hair tangles.
