3. Product Overview
Familiarize yourself with the main components and controls of your speaker microphone.

4. Setup and Connection
4.1 Charging the Devices
Before first use, fully charge both the speaker microphone and the K-Type Bluetooth adapter.
- Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the Type-C port on both the speaker microphone and the K-Type Bluetooth adapter.
- Plug the other end of the cable into a USB power source (e.g., power bank, car charger, PC, wall adapter).
- The status indicator LED will show charging status (refer to specifications for full details). Charging time is approximately 2-3 hours.

4.2 Attaching the Belt Clip
The speaker microphone comes with a 360ยฐ rotating belt clip for convenient attachment.
- Align the belt clip with the designated slot on the back of the speaker microphone.
- Slide the clip into place until it securely locks.
- The clip can be rotated 360ยฐ to suit your preference.

4.3 Connecting to a Walkie-Talkie
The speaker microphone connects wirelessly to your walkie-talkie via the K-Type Bluetooth adapter.
- Power on the Walkie-Talkie and Adapter: Turn on your walkie-talkie. Insert the K-Type Bluetooth adapter into the two-pin audio jack of your walkie-talkie. The adapter's red LED will flash.
- Power on the Speaker Microphone: Press and hold the Power On/Off button on the speaker microphone. The green and blue lights will flash, and a voice prompt will announce "Connected" once paired.
- Verification: Once connected, you should hear audio from the walkie-talkie through the speaker microphone, and pressing the PTT button on the microphone will transmit.

Compatibility: This device is compatible with Baofeng, Kenwood, Retevis, PXTON, WEIRWEI, TYT, PUXING, WOUXUN two-way radios that feature a K-type two-pin audio jack. Specific compatible models include Baofeng UV-5R, BF-F8HP, BF-F8, UV-5R+PLUS, BF-888S, UV-82, UV-82HP, UV-S9, GM-30, GM-15PRO, UV-17R, UV-21R, and Quansheng UV-K5, UV-K6, UV-K5(8).
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power On/Off button until the indicator lights flash and you hear a voice prompt.
- To power off, press and hold the Power On/Off button until the indicator lights turn off.
5.2 Volume Control
- Use the '+' button to increase the volume.
- Use the '-' button to decrease the volume.
- Adjust the volume to a comfortable level for clear communication, especially in noisy environments.

5.3 Push-to-Talk (PTT) Function
- Press and hold the PTT button on the side of the speaker microphone to transmit your voice.
- Release the PTT button to listen.
5.4 Clear Audio Communication
The speaker microphone is designed with high-quality speakers to ensure clear sound reception and transmission, minimizing noise even in challenging environments. This allows for effective two-way communication.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the Type-C charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning or exposing to water.
6.2 Water Resistance (IP67 Models Only)
For IP67 Waterproof models, the device offers complete protection from dust and can withstand water immersion for 30 minutes in 1 meter deep water. Ensure all port covers are sealed tightly before exposing the device to water.

6.3 Charging Best Practices
- Use only the provided charging cable or a certified USB-C cable.
