5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your amplifier board:

  1. Connect Speakers: Connect your passive speakers to the 'Horn (right)' and 'Horn (left)' terminals on the rear of the amplifier. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
  2. Connect Power: Connect a DC 9-24V / 5A or above power supply to the 'DC:9-24V' power interface (size 5.5-2.5) on the rear.
  3. Choose Audio Input: Select your desired audio input method:
    • Bluetooth: Power on the amplifier. The device will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
    • AUX Input: Connect your audio source (e.g., phone, PC) to the 'AUX' port using the provided 3.5mm AUX cable or RCA to AUX cable.
    • USB Audio: Insert a USB flash drive (formatted FAT32, max 32G) containing WAV, FLAC, APE, or MP3 audio files into the 'USB AUDIO' port.
  4. Power On: Flip the 'ON/OFF' switch to the 'ON' position to power on the amplifier.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Volume Knob Functions

  • Rotate: Adjusts the volume (VOL- / VOL+).
  • Click: Pauses or plays the current track.
  • Double Click: Skips to the next track.
  • Triple Click: Switches playback mode (Bluetooth / AUX / USB flash drive).
  • Press and Hold: Powers the device off or on.

6.2. Bluetooth Connection

To connect your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device:

  1. Ensure the amplifier is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (triple click the volume knob if needed).
  2. On your mobile device, go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
  3. Search for and select the 'XinYi' BT device to pair and play music.

6.3. Sinilink APP Control

The amplifier supports control via the Sinilink APP. This allows you to change the Bluetooth name and set a pairing password.

  1. Download and install the Sinilink APP on your smartphone.
  2. Open the APP and connect to your amplifier.
  3. Navigate to the settings within the APP to modify the device name or set a password.
  4. After making changes, click the "Set" button in the APP to apply them.

6.4. USB Flash Drive Playback & EQ

To play music from a USB flash drive and adjust the equalizer:

  1. Insert a USB flash drive with compatible audio files into the 'USB AUDIO' port.
  2. Ensure the amplifier is in USB playback mode (triple click the volume knob if needed).
  3. Use the remote control or the Sinilink APP to navigate the music list and select tracks.
  4. Within the Sinilink APP, you can also open the equalizer to customize sound settings.

7. User Tips

  • For optimal sound quality, use high-quality audio cables and speakers.
  • Ensure your power supply meets the recommended specifications (DC 9-24V / 5A or above) to prevent performance issues.
  • Keep the amplifier in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating, especially during prolonged use at high volumes.
  • When switching between input modes, a brief pause in audio is normal.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the amplifier's exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the amplifier in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.

9. Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and the power switch is in the 'ON' position. Verify the power supply meets the DC 9-24V requirement.
  • No Sound: Check all audio connections (speakers, input source). Ensure the correct input mode is selected (Bluetooth, AUX, USB). Adjust the volume knob.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Make sure the amplifier is in Bluetooth mode and discoverable. Turn off and on Bluetooth on your source device. Ensure no other devices are connected to the amplifier.
  • USB Playback Not Working: Verify the USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32 and contains supported audio formats (WAV, FLAC, APE, MP3). Ensure the drive size is 32GB or less.
  • Distorted Sound: Check speaker connections and ensure they are not overloaded. Reduce the volume. Verify the audio source is not distorted.
  • Automatic Shutdown: The amplifier has built-in protection mechanisms (overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, etc.). If it shuts down automatically, check for short circuits, ensure proper ventilation, and verify the power supply voltage is within the specified range. Allow the unit to cool down if overheating is suspected.
