1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the PROTMEX Wireless Weather Station. This device provides comprehensive indoor and outdoor environmental data, including temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, and weather forecasts. It also features a clock with alarm functions and a convenient USB charging port.

2. Package Contents
- 1 x PROTMEX Weather Station Main Unit (Indoor Receiver)
- 1 x Wireless Remote Sensor (Additional sensors may be purchased separately for models PT20B and PT20C)
- 1 x DC 5V Power Adapter (for Main Unit)
- 1 x User Manual (this document)
3. Initial Setup
3.1 Powering the Devices
- Remote Sensor: Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote sensor. Insert 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment.
- Main Unit (Indoor Receiver):
- Option 1 (Power Adapter): Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the "DC 5V" input socket on the back of the main unit and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Option 2 (Batteries): Open the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. Insert 3 x AAA 1.5V batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity. Close the battery compartment. Note: Using batteries alone may limit backlight functionality.

3.2 Pairing the Remote Sensor
Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically search for the remote sensor's signal. This may take a few minutes. The outdoor temperature and humidity readings will appear on the main unit's display once connected.

If the outdoor readings do not appear, press and hold the "CH" button on the main unit to manually initiate a search for the sensor. Ensure the remote sensor is within the 60-meter (200 ft) line-of-sight wireless transmission range.
3.3 Initial Time and Date Setting
The weather station features a Radio Controlled Clock (RCC) via DCF signal. It will attempt to synchronize the time automatically. If manual adjustment is needed or preferred:
- Press the "SET" button to enter time setting mode.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust values.
- Press "SET" again to confirm each setting and move to the next (e.g., 12/24 hour format, hour, minute, year, month, day).
