Figure 19: Protection Mechanism Details
Important Notes:
- It is not allowed to input AC power, let alone connect to 220V mains power.
- The maximum allowable input voltage is 140V. Overvoltage input or reverse polarity connection is not allowed.
- The output cannot fully guarantee anti-backflow. When connecting the battery, it is necessary to ensure that the output voltage of the power module is always higher than the battery voltage, or to connect a diode in series with a unidirectional conduction at the output positive pole to prevent battery voltage backflow from burning out the power supply.
- When connecting the output terminal to the battery, be careful not to reverse the positive and negative poles.
- The product is a voltage reduction module; the maximum output voltage is approximately (input voltage * 0.95) - 1V.
8. Calibration
The module supports voltage and current calibration for improved accuracy.
8.1 Voltage Calibration Steps:
- Use a multimeter to measure the actual voltage at the current output terminal (output terminal unloaded), measure the power terminal and input it.
- Short press OK/↓ to display voltage 2.
- Use a multimeter to measure the actual voltage at the current output terminal again and input it.
- Short press OK/↓ to complete the calibration.
- If calibration is successful, it will display "CALI Success" and exit; otherwise, it will display "CALI Failed" and exit. If it fails, you can try calibrating again.
8.2 Current Calibration Steps:
- Use a multimeter current range or electronic load to short circuit the output terminals and measure the current actual current and input it.
- Short press OK/↓ to display current 2.
- Use a multimeter to measure the actual current at the current output terminal again and input it.
- Short press OK/↓ to complete the calibration.
- If calibration is successful, it will display "CALI Success" and exit; otherwise, it will display "CALI Failed" and exit. If it fails, you can try calibrating again.

9. User Tips
- Always double-check input and output polarity before powering on to prevent damage.
- When using the module with batteries, consider adding a diode to prevent reverse current flow into the power supply.
- Utilize the data group storage feature to quickly switch between common voltage/current settings for different projects.
- For precise applications, perform voltage and current calibration regularly using a high-quality multimeter.
- The locking function is useful to prevent accidental changes during long-term operation or in environments where settings might be inadvertently altered.
10. Troubleshooting
- No Output: Check input voltage, ensure output is enabled (short press power button), and verify protection settings (OVP, OCP, LVP) are not triggered.
- Inaccurate Readings: Perform voltage and current calibration as described in Section 8.
- Display Not Working: Check cable connections between the main board and the display unit. Ensure the baud rate is correctly set if using a serial screen.
- APP/PC Connection Issues: Verify the ZK-BT or ZK-U2T module is correctly installed and its indicator light is active. For PC, ensure correct COM port selection and .NET Framework 4.8 is installed.
- Overheating: Ensure adequate ventilation around the module. The cooling fan should activate if temperature exceeds 45°C, current exceeds 2A, or power exceeds 30W. Reduce load if overheating persists.
- Settings Not Saving: Ensure you confirm settings with OK/↓ after adjustment.
11. Maintenance
- Keep the module clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the module to moisture or extreme temperatures.
- Regularly check all connections for tightness and signs of wear.
- Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating, especially during high-power operation.
- The silicone buttons are designed for durability and are waterproof/dustproof, requiring minimal maintenance.
