Attach the Carplay main unit to the bracket and tighten the screws on the back of the cradle to secure the main unit. The bracket can be rotated for optimal viewing angle.

Secure the cradle to the crossbars on both sides of the motorcycle or directly in the middle. Two types of mounting brackets are shipped randomly according to model matching:

4.2. Connect the device to the power supply of the motorcycle
Power supply via motorbike battery:
- Connect the red wire (+) to the positive terminal of the motorbike battery.
- Connect the black wire (-) to the negative terminal of the motorbike battery.
- The unit will turn on automatically when the motorbike is switched on.
Important Wiring Note:
The product power supply is not allowed to connect directly to the motorbike or electric car battery, otherwise it will cause the product to short-circuit and prevent it from powering on. Please connect in the correct way as follows:
- Connect the positive terminal of the smart screen power cord to the positive terminal of the power lock.
- Connect the negative terminal of the smart screen power cord to the negative terminal of the electric lock.
Remember not to connect the positive and negative terminals of the smart screen directly to the two ends of the motorcycle battery, as this may cause a short circuit!

5. Android Auto
To use Android Auto, navigate to the PhoneLink page on your device and select the Android Auto icon. Ensure your phone supports Google services, has the necessary software installed from the Google Play store, and Bluetooth is connected.

Pairing devices:

After installing the required applications, open Android Auto and follow the prompts to install corresponding services and updates. Successful operation indicates proper software environment support.

6. CarPlay

After successfully connecting, the device will display the application screen, allowing you to perform relevant functions.
7. Bluetooth (BT)
Tap the [BT] application to enter the Bluetooth interface. Once connected with your mobile phone via Bluetooth, you can use functions such as Bluetooth phone calls and music playback.
7.1. Pairing Device
If the device is not paired, go to your phone's Settings > Bluetooth, search for the Bluetooth name "CAR-BT-XXXX" of the host unit. Your phone will prompt for a PIN code (found on the device's setup screen) or allow direct confirmation. A successful connection will display "Phone Device Name".
7.2. Call Function

- Use the Bluetooth music function to play songs from your phone. For some music players, you may need to first open the music page on your phone and initiate playback.
8. Connecting a Bluetooth Helmet/Headset
You can connect your phone to the device's CarPlay or Android Auto via Bluetooth. After a successful connection, use your phone's Bluetooth to connect to your helmet headset. This enables hands-free calls and music listening through your helmet or headset.

DVR Function (7-inch models only)
The 7-inch DVR models support 1080P 30fps dual recording with a 170° wide viewing angle for both front and rear cameras. The device features seamless loop recording, automatically overwriting old footage, and G-Sensing to lock emergency recordings in case of impact.

The device has two card slots: a DVR slot for recording videos and a CARD slot for multimedia playback. To use the DVR function, insert the SD card into the DVR slot. For multimedia playback, insert the SD card into the CARD slot.

If you want to use the DVR function, please exit CarPlay mode, as the DVR function cannot be used in CarPlay mode. You need to hold down the "TF" card app on the homepage and swipe left to find the "DVR" app and use it.
Maintenance
The device is designed with IP67 waterproofing, making it suitable for use in rainy conditions. However, avoid prolonged exposure to rain (more than 2 hours) as this can lead to internal short circuits. If the device has been exposed to rain for an extended period, place it in a dry and ventilated area to air dry for 5 hours to restore normal operation.
Avoid contact between the camera lens and solvents such as degreasing oil, alcohol, or tar cleaning agents to prevent damage to the waterproof layer.
Troubleshooting
Common Fault Handling
The device cannot be turned on:
- Check that the wiring connections are correct and connected to the positive and negative terminals of the motorcycle's battery according to the instructions in the setup section.
- Measure the line voltage and check for power in the wiring.
- Ensure you are using the original ACC power cord provided. Do not use other power cords.
- The working voltage is 12V and current is 3A. Ensure the working voltage environment.
- If the product keeps shutting down and restarting, it indicates insufficient voltage. Try removing the TF card and restarting.
- If issues persist, check if the charger complies with "12V 3A". If not, contact customer service for a replacement.
The front or rear camera does not display:
Check the camera. If the front camera doesn't display, try connecting the rear lens. If the rear lens displays an image, the front lens may be damaged. Contact customer service for a new camera.
Both the front and rear cameras are not displayed:
Check that the camera cables and DVR connection cables are properly connected.
The video is not clear or there is flare in the captured image:
Check the lens for dust and dirt and wipe it clean.
Bluetooth cannot be connected:
- Check if the Bluetooth password is correct when pairing the device and phone.
- Restart the device's Bluetooth and your phone's Bluetooth, then try connecting again.
Bluetooth helmet/headset cannot be connected:
- After connecting to Android Auto or CarPlay, disconnect Bluetooth from the device and connect the Bluetooth headset directly to your phone.
- If you cannot connect, the helmet Bluetooth headset may be malfunctioning. Replace the headset if necessary.
The device prompts that it cannot record video or playback video in TF:
Check if the TF-SD card is damaged. If so, replace it with a new TF-SD card (Class10 or higher recommended).
Screen display or recorded video is subject to electromagnetic interference from streaks:
- Check the wiring and bundling of the camera for problems.
- Wiring and bundling should be smooth, without folding wires, and with some margin. Bundling should not be too tight or the vehicle housing should not be squeezed too much.
User Tips
Phone Compatibility:
Some phone models, including Samsung S22 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy A20 (Modell SM-A205g), Samsung A54, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P30 Pro, are not compatible with this device. Additionally, most Xiaomi, Huawei, and Samsung phones are not compatible with Android Auto functionality. If you own one of these phones and intend to use Android Auto, it is advised not to purchase this product.
DVR and Camera Options:
The 5-inch model does not include a camera. The 7-inch model offers an optional camera. Please confirm your desired size and camera inclusion before purchasing.
Type-C Interface:
The Type-C interface is blocked for waterproofing and cannot be used. Always use the provided charging cable for power.
Storage Card:
Use storage cards with Class10 or higher versions. Lower class cards may not be compatible. Consider purchasing memory cards from the official store to avoid compatibility issues.
Time Synchronization:
This product does not have a built-in battery and cannot calculate time when powered off. To synchronize the time, connect your phone via Bluetooth and use the CarPlay/Android Auto function to display the time from your phone.
CarPlay/Android Auto Interference:
When CarPlay or Android Auto is active, avoid connecting your phone to smartwatches (iWatch or Android smartwatches) as these third Bluetooth devices can cause CarPlay/Android Auto to fail. Also, do not use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot during operation.
Android Auto Specifics:
Your Android phone needs 5G/WiFi functionality for Android Auto. If experiencing issues, clear all service storage and cache data for the Google Application Player in your phone's settings. For Huawei (EMUI) users, enable "Always Open Phone Data" in developer options for wireless Android Auto; otherwise, only wired connection is possible.
Bluetooth Signal Quality:
A good Bluetooth signal from your phone is essential for smooth CarPlay/Android Auto operation. A poor signal may result in lag.
Screen Protection:
The product screen comes with a protective film. If you notice scratches upon receipt, these are likely on the film due to transportation. Remove the protective film to reveal an unscratched screen. The screen remains waterproof after the film is removed.
